This is what happens when you kill a lvl 60 stone guard when you are only level 47. For some reason, it pisses them off and i can't figure out why....we set up shop here all day. End of the story: he left my body for 30 seconds and i got away without him noticing. I made it back to the loch modan border and started making this picture. i then noticed i was getting attacked, and it was him again. he chased me all the way to the flypoint trying to kill me, and ultimately failing ^^

Well, i had help from two 60 warriors. i was the impromptu bait. He came for me, and the warrior jumped on him from above, and the other came from below. I then rushed in to help, and managed to actually do some damage to him. It really pissed him off that I was the original target and he couldn't kill me because of the two warriors. <Never said i was alone>

If you look at the pic, though, you'll notice that I am in fact DEAD. Yes, he killed me once, but he wanted to camp and get me twice. That's where I denied him. This was in the Badlands, and he was farming the rock elementals all day so I couldn't get the nifty stopwatch quests done. He was the one that attacked me, just when the warriors showed up and we got him. And I've certainly been the target of PVP farming horde who have a 60 with a low lvl and go around ganking people for pvp kills. If we kill, it's only me and Yulbruner (rabbit) on equal terms, or we leave them be.

rock elementals drops elemental earth.

They are used for major nat protection and elemental sharpening stones.

I also spend some long afternoons farming this spot and i anihilate any alliance critters roaming around

I got a question, whenever I took a snapshot (with the screenshot key) it always produce a *.tga file, I can't open it with any of the software on my pc. is there anyway to change the default setting to take *.jpg files?

uuse photoshop, paintshop pro, acdsee, imageview, .....

any of the programs will work.
i think the fax viewer in windows as well... but not sure about that.

found a program that converts, would've been better if could change it in game to produce jpgs though.

producing JPEG would mean to compress the image files directly. This is not a bad idea considering that the format used by WOW is really too big .

ok... just for you guys information:
jpg files COMPRESS, thus make files smaller, at loss of quality.
wow itself paid the royalties / licence fees to be allowed to use TGA standard in the game (VERY high quality, lossless images, better size than bitmaps, and supports alpha channels [jpeg does not] ).

if they want to use the JPG encoding scheme for screenshots, they will have to pay another licence for JPG formats, "just for screenshots"..... waste of money, if you ask me.
they use TGA files already, as all their textures and mapping files in the game use that format because of the quality.

file formats are not open-source nor for free. its just we are used to use "borrowed" software which opens / converts them all, and which in the purchasing price (anyone bought one?) includes the price for all the licenses of formats included.

easy to forget the little thing. ^^

i'd rather say its sad that windows doesn't support such a widely used format natively. it should!

yes. Those bug are recent.

The raptor dood has 2 bugs (behind the fence and up the altar...

But before, most ZUG bosses were killed normally

The tiger fight is indeed very intresting.

we killed the tiger boss without bug.
until the bug came out.... was way more interesting.
broodlord got bugged behind the fence for long time. then they removed the fence and people just found a new spot (platform next to stairs)
I mean, we can go DIRECTLY to broodlord if 1 rogue is in group and kill him with 5 people and get the enchant drop and famr him every cooldown. its almost no fun (just finished a run).
