Went to sign up for the free trail on the taiwan servers...seems many others have had the same idea.

Taiwan servers are now capped, full...no more space. They aren't accepting new accounts until they have had a tune up.

Shouldn't take them long, from what I could understand, it should be back after tomorrows maintenance

nyone else thinking of coming over? If so may as well start in the same realm and help each other level up...

I think there must be some restrictions when leveling, and seriously starting over to not being able to play it to full, we'd rather go on a stable blizlike private server then, no?

think the trial is 10 days prolly capped at 40? not too sure. Gonna look into it tho as many chinese players have gone there. I would hazzard a guess I can find taiwan gamecardshere in shanghai some place so gonna have a search.

As for private servers, I went through looooads, too unstable no matter what you say. Some I found great for a few day then shitty. Its just gonna ruin the treat of the new contect for me when it arrives. I wanted to brush up on the new instances, which I have done, but I dont wanna god mode the whole of northrend in a week

Although the setup and content of private servers differs tremendously the constant is the type of player they attract. They all seem jam packed with total asshats, seriously they seem to be kids who can't afford a subscription to play on a real server.

The other side that keeps me away is the ease in which u can get super kit. Its like when u get a game and use a cheat mode, get all the good stuff, its great for a day or two, then u never wanna play t again.

Gonna give the whole TW thing a bit of a look see and failing that just wait it out.

If I remember well, the lv cap for a trial account is lv 20.

I've been thinking of this idea for a Looooooong time, Very tempting. though without the recruit a friend program. Dude, that's 120 hours of my life I'l never be able to get back (For the THIRD freaking time!)

I'd rather just ride out the storm in China. I'm not grinding again and the ping is most likely going to be terrible. I personally hate leveling.

Ashra, I'm thinking about something and if we find a few people to come it might be fun. What we could do is starting a bunch of toons on a blizzlike private server. Actually rtkgaming.com was a good one, I've never been disconnected. If we can find 5 people we could lv together and then do low lv instances all the way. Would be fun to again have the tank the healer and the dps dealers wihtout this 70 owning his way. I think would give us a few bunch of good old sensations, what do you think about?

If the server is WOTLK I'll be down, do you have two seperate game files then? One is updated to WOTLK one is left at TBC?

Khelben you talking about the rtkgaming private server or taiwan server? both servers are on wotlk so you have to install the wotlk client and patch it till 3.0.9 for the private one. Of course make a backup of your current wow before patching, otherwise when china wow reopen you might have some troubles getting back in.

I was referencing to the private server. I don't think I'm going to make the move to Taiwan, I fear the ping will be too high for me. Yeah if we can get enough people to run some instances I'll be interested. I can tank, DPS but I will admit I suck at healing.

Yeah I think would be fun, acutally I've always regretted having to rush trough the old content when leveling. And in cooperative it will be fun to lv and gear.

Meh personally I'm not interested in 1-70, I mean I've done it several times already (legitimately, no powerleveling) and its really not that fun. I mean you just brute force everything now, there's not even healing required really at all. I'm just excited for 71-80.

yeah.. i've never seen so many people with "/w noob" bound to a hot key. after a week of that i just wanted to hurt things!

I am a noob because I look for a group, not try to solo instances with the +600 STR +600 STA sword of cuntishness..

..really, I just wanted to roll a 70 T6 and take it through the new instances wth a group of likeminded people, not spend 6 weeks voting obn some website to obtain fukkin ridiculous equipment.

It seems like all the private servers are patched up to 3.1.3. Do you we have a set realm and private server provider that people would like to test out? Also how is the ping? I might try looking for a Chinese private server.
