Good news today. wow china have been approved by the chinese cultural department on 7/21, its now only waiting for approval from "China News Agent" and the approval process is close to finalizing. Rumors said they are looking at rushing it out on 7/23 - on the day of Chinajoy.
Netcase has also confirmed all hardware and software are ready to go on their side. They are only waiting for government's approval to get the server rolling.
Looked like wow is coming home very soon. Just hang on a little longer guys!

I'm going to say that WoW will not be released that soon. We all know how China likes to drag its feet and I'm highly doubtful they're going to release something that occurs the same time as China's large gaming convention.

yeah i have read it this morning ... at 30/7 it will be launched but its a beta version. Meaning the game will be playable for ppl who have made account or own an account of wow before netease came. So if there are ppl who want to make a new account, they just cant
IMO maybe netease wants to have a good picture of how many ppl have left wow china and go to wow taiwan ... but i dont know exactly its just a speculation.

I don't think Ill be returning till they release WOLK, we were farming sunwell already and I will be starting a DK if they ever get here so yer im staying with Aion for awhile. TBC is nothing but a boring reminder of how little I actually have to do in WoW...might just put my character on there so I can raid once a week if I'm really desperate.
