I believe those that use it have long been aware. I believe Myspace and Twitter have also been blocked. It's due to the response of what occured in Xinjiang.

access to FB has been on and off here in mainland china. sometimes for 1 day and sometimes for a couple of weeks. you get used to it.

I've read soewhere that apparently, Skype is Blocked by the government too.

Really I came back from my holidays in france and the only thing that could get me in touch with my friends there was facebook...

youtubeproxy.org is a good way to bypass the blockage, but there's a time and debit limit if you don't pay for the service Sad

Hotspot shield seems to have a problem with me.
doesn't work.
freedur is 3 days trial and it's over for me.

you can try TORproject, which is freeware. it's pretty slow, so you might just want to use it to access certain websites.
you cant access the torproject website here in china. there are some external mirrors to download the program, but i would have to look for the link first, PM me if you need help

hmm, well if hotspot and tor dont work on your pc, then hirna is right, get yourself a different pc.

how do you play wow with such a machine scratch

sounds a bit funny cause with tor all you need to do is to change some things in your internetbrowser, thats all, i even have a nice guide (i didnt write it) with pics, so you cant go wrong, eventhough its in german
