Flub, why would you take the risk to download a wow launcher on the web when you just need to patch to 3.1.3, change the realmlist.wtf and start the game?

There's a slight misconception about the wow executable

You don't always need to use the wow launcher of a Chinese client. Version 3.0.5 was an exception because instead of simply naming 3.0.3 the9 wanted to make it feels it was different, thus they changed the headers of the wow launcher and that's why we had to replace the US/EU 3.0.3 wow l. by the CN 3.0.5 wow l. because even if the files where exactly the sames when connecting on their servers they would think we are running on the wrong version.

Now for the upcoming 3.1.3 there won't be any problems because both headers will point to the version 3.1.3.
Was like in the past from 2.1 to 2.4 I never had to use the wow.exe of a chinese client to have the game working.

So really don't take the risk to download wow.exe files on the web caus it can contain keyloggers and it isn't needed.

Note : it seems that the US build is the 3.1.3.9947 and the chinese one is the 3.1.3.9981

Flub maybe you'll still need a chinese launcher to run the game ^^. But that's not sure yet caus the difference between the two builds are small.
