can you buy Xbox 360 games in China? if so, where? possibly shanghai?

You have to look for some street computer, or video game shops, (don't have any exact adress but if you look in the non touristic streets there are many of them. You can buy fake games there, perhaps they have fake Xbox360 but you might need to modify your console to play them, dunno how it works.

You can buy them in any DVD or Videogameshop but rarely Originals. If you want originals try Best Buy

For the copy games you need a mod chip in the XBox360 there are no copy consoles existing only old or repaired ones with new Box around it, but easy to check with the Serial number on the Box and Console.

Dont buy a first generation XBoy360 as for the latest model or i guarantee u 100% it will break after 1 to 12 month. The soldering is to bad and all my friends had them repaired 1000-times and finally bought the new Versions which are slightly more expensive then the old ones.

i live in Nantong. it's about 2 1/2 hours away from Shanghai. i bought an Xbox 360 last christmas in america. it's one of those 60gb 360s, i haven't had a problem with it yet. i was just wondering if i could buy some games across the way over there in China.

dude just walk around the city, go to some local markets... theres bound to be some kind of electronic section. ask them if they can chip your xbox and whether they sell games. they should sell for about 10 kuai.

you dont get the xbox chipped u update the firmware on ur drive to the pirated firmware. This allows 360 to read "fake" discs. If your hands grow from the right place u can surely do it urself. Ive done it twice and had no problems whatsoever

Well, I suggest you to pay ppl to do it for you... Don't kill your self...
For the Wii it's about 200 kuai, might be expensive but compared to what the games cost~
But there can be side effects, like not being able to use Xbox Live anymore ect...

there is everything you need to know. There is only one DVD-drive that cant be flashed and has to be modded hope you dont have that one.

damn... i don't have a SATA PCI card. i did however find a place to buy pirated games. heh, i bought PES 2009 for 5 yuan just to see if it would work regardless, guess i need to flash my drive ASAP. now i just need to figure out where to buy a SATA PCI card... >.<'

Bring your xbox360 to their shops I'm sure they do this all the time. They gonna ask you for 50RMB probably, don't accept to pay more or best bring a chinese friend with you and wait outside of the shop

hahaha... i went to the Xbox shop i bought the game at, and asked them about modding my Xbox. they said it would cost 100 yuan, and they would have to ship my Xbox off to Guandong Provence to modify it, then the company would ship it back. i thought to myself there is no f***in' way i'm having my Xbox shipped to one of the worst criminal places in China; let alone have the console shipped through China regardless. theres no telling how much damage it'll take from all the tossing around stuff.
