Hi,

I followed Alex's instructions to setup WoW with Netease (thanks Alex for the excellent post BTW).

I also protected my account with the new Netease card.

But when I try to connect true the Skeleton file the game starts and I can input the account name and the password but then I have a strange matrix window.

It's an overlap (mix togheter) of the old matrix system (A-H / 1-10) and the new Netease matrix (A-G / 1-12) and the rotating numbers can not allow me to enter more than 2 digits numbers ?????

I also have a Chinese version of WoW installed and if I use this CN version the matrix is correct (new one) and I can enter the game.

EDIT UPDATE:
I have removed my matrix card from Netease and my EU version works fine now (I saw Ashra post a bit too late , maybe Alex needs to make a small add in his post to prevent others to do the same mistake) .

Any idea about this issue on EU version?

So what is the current status on the matrix card problem. Do all US/EU wow users disable their matrix card option to play? If so, isn't it regarded quite unsafe to do so with the mass of Chinese account hackers?

Anyone with any updates on this problem? Thanks.

GreenMoon, this happened to me too. All I did was remove the matrix card and it worked fine. Though now there's a risk of being seriously hacked.
