You can register on Wow Taiwan with your own Passport. It's not like in China where they accept only chinese residents.

i don't think TW Realm allow character transferring as feature like in US Realm. Yeah I been waiting for a english speaking guild since 2007

Most Taiwan realms are locked. I have created a few toons on the only realm labeled 'new', but even that gets queues sometimes. If the foreign players could group up on that new realm (Horde side) it would be great. My Chinese isn't so great so I'm not sure as to the name of the realm at this time. When I find it out I will be sure to put it here. Thanks all.

I do not have any characters on 米奈希尔, so I cannot create characters on that realm。 I do have characters on 远祖滩头 (Yuan ZU Tan Tou) and on 凛风峡湾 (Lin Feng Xia Wan). All Horde. Let me know if someone can play on either of those.

we could Plevel you aswell ... my fellow foreigner is deathknight and i am hunter/Warlock( i have 2 80). We are all hordes

The server is newly created and the proportion between horde and alliance is about 55% horde 45% alliance.

We rule all the tower in pvp area hehe

I have a problem running instances on the Taiwan realms. My connection is green when questing around, but in an instance it becomes horrible and I lag out and disconnect a few times. I am playing from Chengdu, Sichuan and I used to connect to US realms from here and I raided at 80 in 25 mans. It was a little slow, but doable. Now my connection to Taiwan realms is much better while running around, but is much much worse in an instance. Any ideas why or suggestions as to how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

I use the US client to play the game, if that information helps.

It's really random. For me it may happen in Orgrimmar, Nexus, Battleground.

Dunno why cause it should be hosted on the same server?

You can realm transfert in Taiwan server. We have done a free server change a few weeks ago (only periodical to free space on clogged servers).

A friend also came to our server using the payed char transfer. I think it was less than 100RMB and it worked fast and fine

That would be cool if we could gather all people around the realms and make a guild.

Imcintire perhaps you should try to use a proxy service to speed-up your connection.
I've heard once you start to do serious group play on Taiwan servers from mainland, the use of a proxy is pretty mandatory, probably for the reasons you mentioned.

Well really sorry I'm not playing on Taiwan servers, and never used a proxy either so can't help you. I just heard it costs around 20-30rmb a month, and you will be provided a program to install on your computer that will be running when you play that's all ^^'

Hopefully someone on this forums can help you get started with it.

Not sure why you want a proxy. I play with 70ms ping from Suzhou yes in some cities the ping goes up or on BG but that normaly stops within 1min and gets back to normal.

In instances I never had problems.

My connection makes instances pretty much unrunnable. I get around 200ms while questing around, but once I go into an instance it pretty much goes to crap. I don't know why. I used to run level 80 25 mans on US realms with this same connection. Any ideas as to what the problem is or possible solutions? What game client are you using? Thanks for your time.

Hi everybody, as i wrote in a new topic we are 3 players, soon 4. We're all lv 80 with good gear. We've got a horde guild on TW server 狂心.
I agree with Deadanus, that would be great if we could all be in the same guild.
We already made a char transfert 6 months ago and i can try to convince my friends to do it again but of course it would be better and "shufu" if we can just find players already on our server (because of few problems like the guild bank for example)
Anyway we just have to discuss and find a solution to make a 10-15 players guild together. It s not a big deal ...

Yes, you need a proxy. Prime time, you won't be able to go into major cities without one.

The two major ones are Netpas and Tenwon. I have both (they can be on and off, Chinese companies you know), but it usually lets me raid/instance/wintergrasp at sub 100 ms.

net27 is OK too.

My ping is normally 100-200 in instances but at the cities it goes crazy lagfest

i also recently noted that BGs are pretty laggy too

Oh one thing for people in Shanghai. A lot of people on mainland Servers had/have big lag issues recently(big lag hiccups). Might be related with some Expo 2010 roadworks.

I scratched the card myself and tried over 30 times. I am 100% sure I entered it right every times and I even tried changing the 0s with Os but nothing works.

Since the beginning of December, all the creation have been locked. You can create but can not access to the free trial and recharge your account.
