Since I do not know if all Cow Eaters from Maduolan have access to our private part of the forum on this webpage and don't know who can give them the necessary rights, I hereby ask anyone, who can give them the access, to post in this thread and mention that it is ok that guild members can PM them to have access.

Further I would like to ask any active members of Cow Eaters to get access to the privat section and try to log in as much as possible.

seems as some people cant read, I guess thats why there is a privat section and I dont think it is sad.

I agree with Hirna. If you watch carefully who are posting most of the time you'll realize that this forum isn't frequented by hundreds or thousands of peoples.

There's at best 10 people who come everyday to check the new threads and discuss a little with the others. Now by having your private place it's like saying : so we don't want Bolomas, Urubaen, Hirna etc, caus they can't read.

But coming on Bronzebeard sticky to say that we are cold and people should come to maduolan first is ok of course... You guys have fun when it last.

Not the fact that we have a section, that not all members of this webpage have access is sad, the fact what people post in threads is sometimes sad.

What I meant about not able to read, was about the fact what I wrote in the opening post. I was asking for someone who could give access and didnt ask for Hirna's opinion if this is a good idea or not to have this private section. It is not the first time Hirna makes some comment which is off topic and it's ok for him to do it but not ok for others to give a response to it, for what ever reason.

Maybe those who think this is a bad idea should PM the administrator of this webpage and ask him/her why there is this section. I assume you will not only find out, that it was created long time before I registerd on this webpage, but that it was not intentioned to keep people out.
I guess that it is a place where the guild can discuss things which might not be of interest to others. Also think about the fact that anyone in this world can access this webpage without registering.

Btw. I think Hirna and Urubaen have joined Cow Eaters, so all they would need to do is to ask for access, for example like others have done in this thread. How about you Bolo, did you create a character on Maduolan too and join Cow Eaters?

This is the "cow eaters" website. We have a private forum to deal with internal guild matters that do not concern the general public or anyone else who plays C-wow. There is no reason to be sad about it. BTW this private section of the forum has existed since the creation of this website.

Anyone else who needs access should post here with their CE player name.

It's a place to share ideas, I'm just giving my point of view about this and you need to take in consideration everyone's point of view.

Having your projects/raids/events exposed to everyone on the forum can help people chose their guild too, or they can make people change server and come join you guys (what I indeed, did).
For instance, if you often plan cool "foreigners-only" raids - and I think it's a great opportunity to have more fun than raiding in chinese guild - well, perhaps one can say : "oh, cool, this guild seems to be lot funnier than my lost server on which there is only one foreigner (me), let's join them !" The community could grow faster, but here it seems to be like you're closing gates, like you're missing some real good elements (by elements I mean players) who could have joined your guild if they were aware of such or such event.

Anyways, as you said, this is not the point of the thread, and I'm just explaining here the reasons why I made this comment.

Thank you Hirna, now that was a great comment and I do agree with what you wrote, honestly.
I must say, I did overreact on your first post in this thread, that was not good on my side, sorry about that.
I guess maybe both of us need to think about this and try to express us differently in the future, just not to have missunderstandings.

Actually, I agree with Hirna too. At first, the private CE part was indeed to discuss without bothering other members with guild stuffs. But you got your point.
The privacy was also chosen to avoid:
- the flooding of non relevant posts
- the showing that there is a privilege (which is not true) on 1 guild section because there is only 1 here (Creating a guild section for every guild here might not be necessary as I'm not sure it would be worth it in terms of activity. And +, nobody asked me to do so).

Now, since I haven't played with the Cow Eaters for... er... too long now, I'll let you decide if you really need to delete the privacy or not (and in that case ask me to add you in the Cow Eaters section if that's not done yet).
