guild bank doesnt get transferred, no. (kinda obvious)

Hi guys transfer needs a 450 twow card.

-badges, honor, personal bank, and lvl80 max. 20000g will be all transfered
-bank items , running auctions get lost if not placed into the bank or bag
-mail items will be also lost
-transfer takes min20 min up to max 3 days(took me 5min)
-each char can max transfer 10times if I remember right
-in the FAQ they say something about name change after transfer but I dunno how, it transfered my old name

so get your asses over to stormscale!!!NOW!!!

I appreciate if someone explain me how to get the proxy set up, don't mind which one but netpass sounds good.

Yes you can choose with char u transfer! There are some ruled like min lvl 60 char and so on. Just log in at the transfer page, put your account and pw inside, confirm the Eula, then you get the rules for transfer confirm them or read them, choose the server from where u transfer, you get a list of charachters on that server, the chars which can be transfered have a black box behind the name, choose the server where you want to transfer too, choose pay via game card and there you go.

I'd I didn't understand wrong you can transfer severall chars at the same time but dunno how to make it my Chinese is too poor

I have been thinking about joining you guys on tw-wow, cause I am getting a bit borred after 3 1/2 years of cn-wow.
I have created an account for tw-wow and I am getting my tw-wow game ready in the next couple of hours.
What I am worried about is my internet connection. I would like to try out, if my connection is good enough to play without a VPN.
Maybe there is a kind person who could let me do some testing with a tw-wow account.
If the connection is ok, my next problem will be the game cards.
Since I have been living for allmost 4 years in china, I do not have a credit card from home any more. I tried to get one here, but the bank told me I would need an appartement for guarantee.
Well since I will not buy an appartement in china I will not have a credit card. I also dont have a paypal account. I have seen that there is an option on one of the websites mentioned here in the forum, that payment can be done with western union. I will try that and see if it works out.

it due to buying limit from CN-USA, check your email you should get a email informing you that. You need to send a email and Fxxk them up. Usually within next 24hrs you will get the code by email. I saw the debit cards, but unfortunately Bank of China Kunming is not on there
I thought there was the possibility about Western Union, if not I guess then I will have to do a bank transfer, which will cost me like 3 hours at the bank, that's what it took me last time to send some money to Switzerland
too bad they dont sell the cards in shops here in kunming

i think you can approach to banks like Citibank or DBS (singapore owned bank) in China. Give them a call and tell them you need a debit or credit card to facilitate your online payment / etc. it make your life easier.

I have a debit card from Bank of China, in Kunming. When I checked the payment possibilities, there were some Bank of China branches available to select, such as the one from Shanghai, but not Bank of China, Kunming.
I will check later on and give it a try with my Debit card and see if it works.
For the credit card, unfortunately neither Bank of China nor the other banks in Kunming are willing to give me a credit card, they all say I need to own an appartement for guarantee. They didnt even check my credit history nor my income. Eventhough I have a job here since 3 years and a monthly income which is 10 times higher than the average income in Kunming, they didnt agree.
Kunming is still far behind other cities, since not a lot of foreign companies are here. You need to be very patient...

So far I have my game client updated and changed to TW-wow
I have my tw account created and was able to charge my account with the help of a chinese co-worker.
Unfortunately I will not be able to log in until tonight around 21:00 to try it out, if everything works. Am just hoping that my ping want go crazy and I will be able to play without VPN.
I am planing to roll an UD rogue and hoping to lvl up to 80 very soon, if that is ok with you guys.

I played yesterday with "Bloodymerry", currently a lvl10 rogue, for about 3hours and 1hour today having 300 to 500ms latency. I guess I will not get around without a VPN.

Since I just started on Tw servers I have to start all over again, and I hate to farm for a mount at lvl20, lvl40 etc. Any good suggestions to get a good start? I assume I need about 10k gold until lvl80, for learning all the riding skills, duall spec, enchants for gear and professions.

money is easy muhan, no worries about that ... i have bought them all only by questing in northend. For VPN i am using 27net atm and its okay. I get around 100-200 ms during rush hours or raid nights.

my connection is allmost ok for lvling, so i will have a bit time to get everything setup.
I know if you have a lvl80 it's easy to make money, also once you hit outlands. I recall making an average of 1000g from lvl60 to lvl70 just by doing quests.
But this is my first toon for tw-wow, so I can't transfer a toon, go farming or do quest to get gold. I am starting from scratch. I am tired of lvling. Like many others I gave up my EU account, restarted with cn-wow and now I am restarting with tw-wow. so abit of starting money just makes things easier and faster to lvl up. I didnt come to tw-wow to lvl up a toon, cause I did this many times allready before, but to experience lvl80 content.

i have been looking, and i HAVE solutions, but due to my hanging around chinese guilds in several games, I do have those for programs like YY and UT (prefer YY). Them being in Chinese doesn't make it easier for our fellow mates to use it.

So if someone knows of some vent, ts, etc server we can use, i'd be grateful.

I could use my EU guild Vent, I can ask them creat a room, I tried and it is very clear, but problem is that the server in europe, connecting from asia is going to have a higher ping.

I will check with my mate and see if he can open one room just for us ^^

I m RAIDing 2-3 days a week for 3 years, we use the Blizzard system inside the game and it works perfectly. Less lag too which is pretty important.
I would say Voicechat software are useless now except if you need a lot of seperate rooms for a huge community.
IMO no need for us.

Lol I wouldn't recommend YY. It always freeks new comers in YY world to see that it entirely cleans the windows program startup list after installation.
Meh? where is my firewall icon? My antivirus icon? Not mentioning that you need to launch the program with administrator permissions otherwise it won't work. It has a good theme... who must hide big security holes.

yeah blizzard chat will work fine
sometimes get echo, but so does vent etc...

but for general chat when not raiding(be a while until we get a 10man icc) vent is ok

just need to find a decent host

For general chat we just created a canal chat in WoW, every members can join and chat if they want. Pretty simple too

i have no problem with blizzchat. Should be fine by me.
I use it for pugs and it works fine.
The voice activation is far from perfect, but its really lagfree, sol its ok.

As i told you IG, most of my chinese friends on "frenzy heart" are not planning to change server, we worked hard in PVE this year and i can not let them down for the moment (last part of ICC, 3 evening/week)

Oups misunderstanding, my fault. we're not on Arthas yet. we're in The Crimson Hall, ok ok it's not the last last last part , but soon.
Generally we spend one evening for the Vault of Archavon + H Toc + weekly Raid quest, then 2 evenings in ICC (all in 10 players mode) We still waste too much time on Professor Putricide (problem with the transition P2/P3 and Dps in P3 which need to be really high.)

I mean we just meet 3 times a week to Raid and that's all, that's not my vision of this game nor a guild.

Surprisingly that I got this pm after so long time's absence here due to my PhD thesis. More surprisingly I suddenly remembered the user name and password here XD.
