as I was saying, the CWLK will be in simplified chinese and unless ur qhelper has the same language, it won't work.
Bigfoot is a good idea because bigfoot has english version.
Tomorrow is maintanance day and i think the patch download will be released after maintanance.

The patch is based on a full chinese client,so you should download it,and install a Bigfoot.

Hi nous , you have modified the Chinese client or a French one? I use the Chinese client and modified it to run English language. It's easy to switch back to Chinese version just redo the modification we did for 3.3 , in case you have backed up the files before!!!

If not or you use a French client I suggest it's safe to install the Chinese version first to assure you can play.

No back up any more...Anyway I'm downloading a new clean chinese client, in this way I have both of them in case of we are fucked up the D day.

Noob question, we're all using english clients modified to work on the chinese servers right? so for WOTLK 3.2, all we need is to patch it up to 3.2 (english) and then wait for the skeleton.exe 3.2 version?

is this correct? or do we need to change other things?

so far no one nows which version and patch status will be the chinese WOTLK, so the answer is we dont know yet how to modify the english client!!!

- To be safe its better to install the chinese client which will assure u can play WOTLK upon release

The patch will be 3.2..99% true according to most chinese players..

As for the skeleton.exe, the newest skeleton.exe has been said to work with any WOTLK patches.. you can download it from this link but you might want to ask a chinese friend as the site requires you to register first before downloading anything.

I guess that with all the modifications that Blizzard had to implement to get through the approval it's gonna be a special patch, let's say a modified 3.2.

they will just have to add a couple of .mpq files again like what they did the last time to modify the game content..

Not really, I mean they changed the textures for some stuff only..

Next week, i'll ask my chinese friend to give me a copy of the updated chinese client. I'll update my english client to 3.2 then compare the contents of the data folders. Add to my english client any new .mpq files then launch the game with the newest skeleton.exe file available.

I'm not sure if it will work but i guess it's worth the try.. ^_^

If the game version of the 3.2 patch is the same as Europe just update ur Europe account to the same patch and change the realmlist! Much easier : )
