Ok, 4.0.1 is here. New graphics engine, new Cata talant system, new GUI, new Launcher with play while downloading option (it work really good by the way). Everything is so new.


And HP pool is now Huge, my DK in ICC25 gear that was 27k HP is 35.2K now with buffed attack power and buffed Crit. Now I can faceroll even more.

can you confirm one thing for us, did you go over the cap of 4000 justice points?

have you seen all the talent points and trees have changed.

I was just falling in love with my DK, but they are gonna get sooooooo nurfed :S .

I like Pally Tanks new self heal spell with Holy Power. Basicly you spam Crusader Strike and self heal for 70-90% of your health.

Anybody can. It's just a soft cap, so he has all the overflow, but he has to spend them because the hard cap's coming later.

In my opinion, anyone can choose to play where they would like. If you choose to play on US servers, that's great for you.

If you don't like the fact that China just has 3.2 content, then you could still play on Taiwan servers. They have the same patch as the rest of the world, and there are some ppl in this community playing there.
If you would like to contribute to this community, do it in an informative way, not in a bragging way and letting us feel like we were stupid, such as in one of your posts:

Maybe it's the fact that there is a time difference from China to US that makes it hard to play on US servers from China.

Btw Lieutenant, WoW CN is lacking everything BUT a community. Maybe next actually try logging in to one of the servers where we're present? It's not because you don't speak chinese that there's no community. It's because you don't even try to make an effort to communicate in english with the CN players.

And I'll paraphrase Muhan on playing in China local servers instead of US servers: the difference in time is huge, around 12 hours. 75% of your "community" is sleeping or working and whatnot. I don't understand how you can compare a community present in your local time (which you have never experienced) and a community that is sleeping or working and therefore not playing and lacking in activity. Unless you get up at 3 in the morning to play with them, I will stick to my point.

I'm just farming X-53 rockets lol. But seriously, I was hoping to find people from exact GMT +8 time zone (they have few chinese guilds, but they are all chinese speaking and don't need any more in them anyway). And Khaz'Goroth as well as Frostmourn and Sourfang are set to Australian time, so only 3 hours away from GMT+8.

Playing on Chinese WoW server makes me feel cripled.

So why talking in a Chinese foreign community which plays a crippled wow doesn't make u also feel bad ; )

But difference in 3 hours sometimes kills me (i.e. can't go ICC10/25 raid at 20:00 GMT+8, because it's 23:00 in Australia and people will quit at 4/12 or 6/12).

Join a group of foreigners playing on TW or CN servers.

Ok, here you don't have a big choice of Guilds like on Aussie/US/EU servers.
BUT at least you have a GREAT COMMUNITY and FUN, when you play WITH us.


For the moment I am assuming that there are more foreigners gathered on Chinese servers than on TW, anyone playing on TW server correct me if I'm wrong.

It's up to you, you can play alone with the most current patch.
Or you could play on TW server, with some foreigners with the most current patch.
Or you could play on CN server, with more foreigners and wotlk content.

on TW server stormscale around 6 players that play semiregular (log on every 1-2 days)

before 4.0.1 there were 10+, I guess the latest patch has put some people off

People, you should really try out LA data center, since both China Telecom and China Unicom updated their backbones my ping to US dropped even more. From 210ms during evening to 150ms during evening and 90ms at night and noon.
