Hello all,

I am trying to download and install the Chinese version of WoW (everythin including WoTLK), and then play the game in English.

I've followed the guides on this site and created a Chinese account, then downloaded the InstallWoW-zh_CN.exe installer. Running that I selected WoTLK and downloaded a 6.5GB package. However, everything is in English, and when I look at the directory structure I only have D:\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS, no zhCN folder or simlar.

Also when I run the launcher it starts to download the 3.xx to 4.0.1 update - I would have thought if this was the Chinese version it would only try to update to 3.2.2?

Please could you tell me if this is normal, and if I should just manually patch my installation up to 3.2.2 now, or if I have got the US version somehow and need to do something else?

Thanks Bolomas. I'm doing that now, downloading all the patches for my US version (don't know why it downloaded that from the Chinese battlenet.com.cn, but the Repair.exe tool verifies it is the US version).
