Saturday January 22 at 9:50 am, apparently a hotfix was put into place.

This seems to have, for the time being, ended my ability to use my English client.

This is why I kept a Chinese client. If you really want to go play you can go to the internet cafe and copy the client onto a hard drive. It's a good idea to have a client client available. Otherwise I'm confidant Bolomos can offer a solution when he's available.

It may be a bad implementation or hack. I can't seem to log in even with the Chinese client.

I'm online with my Chinese client after it download a small patch and installed it.

Sigh I hope they won't hotfix things every 2days, lots of work to update all the stuff on the forum.

I need someone to upload the last chinese version wow.exe, battle.net.dll and launcher.exe

When I get them I'll put a fix on the forum

Is there a link to download the patch manually? I can't get to it, even after running repair and I'm using a clean install of the Chinese client (one that hasn't been modified for enUS).

nonono, don t replace repair.exe or you won't be able to downgrade your install "ever"

In a fitting tribute to how things work:

downloaded the new file and the patched client works fine;

the Chinese client choked and repair is now repatching it from 3.1.3 or so.
