Looks like confirmed as far as I saw. Only the date is not really clear.
I for myself find it a pity that we got jumped already to 4.1. . The changes to classes, races, professions and so on are not that little. Europe got at least one month still as ICC with the new talents and item forging. Also the aggro thing is also not that easy

There was a yellow GM message about advising users to download the patch now before relase.

This patch is a beast in itself coming up to aroundf 6gig so give yourself a lot of time to download

Snap! Although I'm glad to get the new content, I'm less excited about updating files. Does anyone have a link to a download for the enUS version of Cata? What I've found so far appears to be a limited download for the trial version and I'm not sure how that will work when patched for play here.

My error. I'm current as of the moment (enUS client, patched to CWOW's current version), the 3.01 patch won't help.

I need to download the necessary files to update my copy of the enUS client to Cata when necessary. I'm sure you'll do the usual outstanding job of helping us patch in what we need to play CWOW when those files become available.

I'm not seeing a 4.x client. If I apply the 4.x patches to a copy of the enUS client that does not have Cataclysm installed, don't I end up with a copy that is current by patch, but doesn't have Cataclysm? I thought that wouldn't work; I remember making a similar error when TBC hit.

I'm a bit unclear on how this is going to be implemented, do you mean we're going to get the 4.1 patch and CWOW will apply Cata later? (Causing us to have to reapply all the patches at some point.)

This time it will work because cataclysm changes the old azeroth for everyone.

I'm not sure about that. I think I recall some posts from NA/EU forums that indicated Vanilla got updated, but that it was still necessary to have Cata installed to access things like the new races (much like we had with TBC).
