I've been playing wow for the past 2 years on Eu realms Deathwing, Dunemaul and Burning Legion.

I've attempted to log on to the Eu realms since I've moved hereand seeing as I've already cleared majority of the Cata raid contents prior to Firelands, there is not a chance I'm going to attempt firelands with 600-800ms.

So I've been doing some reading on the forum, but am still a little sceptical about starting over.

So I'd actually like to hear people's opinion on Taiwan realms compared to EU or US realms in terms of environment, bugs, lags etc. Put it nicely, whether it would be worth my time leveling a brand new character on a Tw Realm?

I really hope someone can give me some feedback

Hei we played some time on TW realm and its very friendly over there, bugs and all others are the same as the eu since they are on the same patch lvl. another option would be plazing with us on china server as cata will be released in the next few days the foreign community here is far bigger then the one on the TW server.

Since u propably need a VPN as all of us why not use WTFast as i described in this thread:

I guess u will have then a ping around 250 to ur EU account which is the same as u will have to TW from china with a normal VPN with WTFast it will be even better.

Thankx but it seems my current guild will be raiding 9pm - 1am GMT+1 and so me raiding with them at 3am - 7am is just not an option.

Think I'll try leveling a new char on a taiwan realm and see how that goes.

anyway I've already played the beginning of cataclysm for 6 months now.

I dont mind going back to lvl 80 for abit. 5 lvl 85s all decently geared did take time

lil bit of old school is always fun

The Taiwan servers are in the same patch as EU ones

by going on china servers

Blizzard Eu realms are currently on lvl 85.

I've been playing Cataclysm since January this year, ie. I have already got 5 lvl 85s. and as thread indicates, Goblins and Worgens aren't out yet on tw realms.

I've already played goblin mage and lvled a worgen hunter to 85.

Therefore what i mean "going back to lvl 80" well You wont be able to level to 85 until cataclysm is available so for me its going back to wrath lvl 80 in other words. (not sure if that makes any sense)

Maybe i missunderstad the thread before but Taiwan server are on the same status as Europen server incl. Goblin and worgen playing from China to taiwan will be a 400 to 800ping according the location.

China will have Cata on the 12th released with patch version 4.1 so far announced , ping would be much better vs. TW realms.

There will be one more patch on the 12th release date of around 50mb but it will propablz not be 4.2.

So yes u will be stuck at80 until the 12th but i dont believe u lvl a char so fast until then

I havent even began to level one yet. so I guess I'll just have to start soon if I want to start firelands in time

and seeing as I am in Taiwan guess that latency wont be a problem.
