There's only one thing that can be done at the moment. Be patient. Be prepared to be offline a week or two or download the game again from scratch if things turns bad or be prepared to play on the Chinese client if you can't wait.

This patch will be a little special because big changes have been done on the warcraft client since cataclysm and the streaming downloader is probably one of our biggest enemy (you can thank the private servers for pushing blizzard to make it harder to play on old versions of the game).

We have a guide in the technical forum on how to patch to 4.1.a , BUT WE DON'T KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK YET!

IT'S STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO STAY ON HOLD until someone who has been able to acutally play on the chinese servers with a foreign client come on the forum and explain how he made it work.

Start with :
3.3.x → 4.0.1.12911 Stage-1 (~1.74 GiB)
3.3.x → 4.0.1.12911 Stage-2 (~2.6 GiB)
3.3.x → 4.0.1.12911 Stage-3 (~760-790 MiB)
3.3.x → 4.0.1.12911 Final Stage-4 (~72 MiB)

Do not use 3.3.x → 4.0.1.12911 Parts 1-4 — Full (~4.9-5.3 GiB) because if your download got corrupted (like it happened to me) you gotta redownload again 5gb of data.

Then keep downloading the patches up to 4.1.a :

Important notice: depending on the website you download from, the patch may be non-streamed versions or full versions. What you want is the full versions since we have no guarantee streaming will work for us. So if you download 4.0.1.13205 → Patch 4.0.3.13287 4.0.1.13205 to version 4.0.3.13287 — ~470Mib and see the files you downloaded is only 4mib or so it means it's not the full version so try another link (atomicgamer seems to work fine).

Personally i would advice downloading thr large patch files instead of my small incrimental ones just to be on the safe side
