I'm newbie and juz register today.
I live near china border (Yunnan Province) and use China Unicom ISP.
I'm a burmese and don't know chinese words. I want to know it, did that method still working and when blizzard detect that what will happen to our game account?
Which region realm will have english member alot Razz

coz I don't know chinese language and want to play in english version.
sorry for my poor english.

Hey Nightgound,

This fix still works and it does its job greatly. Since we are in China, Blizzard cannot ban us for not respecting their rules. If we were in the US or Europe, they would ban us if they detected it.
You can check This to find a place with lots of english speakers.

This solution seem to be right for 4.2 too.
I captured the new *.dat file for 4.2, and login to chinese Wow-account server with no problem.
My Client update to enUS wow-***-14545, and replaced the wow.exe with the chinese 4.2 wow.exe.

Just as info i couldnt test anything yet. European clients the latest 4.2.2 patch is (Patch 4.2.2.14545). As i understand from Xtube he patched his EU client to the latest 4.2.2.14545 patch and just replaced the WOW.exe. Not sure about which .dat file he is refering too, maybe the one which was modified for the locale folder?

I used the Launcher and he updated from alone to

4.2.2 (14769)

is that the right patch for china?

and how can I avoid that he over patch ?
