Hey there guys, I've just obtained a copy of a new game called "Silverfall". it was supposed to be a diablo 2 clone and available in many languages. installing now I'll tell you how it goes in a few minutes.

It's slow, 7.8G install!!

I wanted to buy it in China, i played the demo and its looks like a fresh new rpg. I like the graphisms too. But how you make ur character move is weird. ANd yeah, I agree, it's slow...

hehehe been playing whole night, it's awesome, too bad my pc is struggling to run it. it got a steep system requirement.

pros:
*Alot of the skills and talents are similar to diablo2 and WOW but with more visual effects that's very satisfying.
*The type of quest you take will impact your character and the game world.
*total customization of character, i.e. if you wanna be a archer mage you can, fighter mage you can.

Cons:
*poorly optimize-the game need 2gb of ram to run smoothly, I ran Oblivion, GTA, Jade Empire smooth and they look better than this game but I couldn't run this game on medium setting without hiccups.
*poor english translation, corny storyline.

Well if y'all get the time and are interested you should definitely check it out, I had a blast despite the cons.

after 3 weeks looking for it in the Xinhuas, jialefus and blackmarkets, impossible to find it... got icewindale 2 instead... I'm sooooo disapointed!!
I guess I'm gonna have to buy it for an expensive price in England and play in English.....

instead of looking for 3 weeks you could've download it in about a week like I did. but unless you got a powerful computer you wouldn't enjoy it much. it lags alot for me and alot of slow downs, I heard it required 2ghz of ram to run smooth.

the thing is I'm fighting a huge firewall in my student residence... so I can't really download anything. Plus I don't mind looking for "treasures" in China. And I like having "real" CDs.

apply for adsl, buy a dvd burner, download and burn

Doesn't matter, I'm gonna play Icewindale 2 in Chinese, it's gonna take a while, so then I'll buy Silverfall for nothing on amazon.com...
