"Halfus Wyrmbreaker is an ettin employed by the Twilight Hammer to, well, subjugate captured dragons in order to facilitate the process of draining their essence. He is also the first boss in The Bastion of Twilight."
Main tactic for killing Halfus:
you have Halfus and 3 drakes up at the same time. Each drake will have an ability that makes our life harder UNTIL we kill the drake, THEN they give us a help =)
Drakes abilities
Slate Dragon:
Gives Halfus the "Maleficent Strikes" ability. Stacking mortal strike debuff, forces a tank swap.
Releasing Slate Dragon causes the BOSS (not the raid) to be stunned for 12 seconds periodically.
Nether Scion:
Gives Halfus the "Frenzy" ability. Increases attack speed by 100%.
Releasing Nether Scion reduces the BOSS: Chance to hit, attack speed, and damage done by 25%.
Time Warden:
Activates the proto-behemoth's "Fireball Barrage" ability. This spell is what it sounds: a literal barrage of fireballs.
Releasing the Time Warden slows down the fireballs, making them easier to dodge, as well as placing a red fire circle on the ground showing where each fireball will land (it looks a little like Hellfire).
Storm Rider:
Activates Halfus' "Shadow Nova" spell (needs to be interrupted)
Releasing the Storm Rider reduces the cast time of Shadow Nova by 100%, making it possible to interrupt.
Orphaned Emerald Whelps:
Activates the Proto-behemoth's "Scorching Breath" ability (causes lots of raid damage, needs to be healed)
Releasing the whelps reduces the damage dealt to the raid by the Proto-behemoth (might also reduce boss damage, unsure)
The worst combination it seems is Time Warden/Storm Rider/Whelps
The best combination it seems is Scion/Warden/Whelps
Slate and storm rider drakes seem to be priority. You dont have to kill all 3 drakes for the first just what your group can handle
