So I was leveling my "main" Druid and got kindda bored because of the tedius gameplay then I realize that I had my level 8 hunter sitting in an inn for over a few months.

I then decide to take him out for a stroll because of the bonus xp from resting I got him to lvl 10 in just an hour. When I got back to the trainer I was able to tame pet! so I started to tame a boar and I couldn't put down my hunter since

I saw the char. poll and both hunter and priest got 0 vote, but I think you guys should try it out, they are real fun. just don't try to pvp with him.

well hunter is not bad for pvp, as a mage it wasnt funny to get hunted by a tiger when the hunter was already far away. And they can solo FB at high lvl much easier than other class.

Btw, the max you can get is 30 squares of blue bar, which is about 10days of resting in a inn

EXTREMELY FUN in PVE. VERY versatile class. Keep the boar, its the best tank. at 60, get the undead looking plagued swine from eastern plaguelands. only animal that will get you CHARGE RANK 6.

in PVP, they are UBER. longer range than anyone and HARD HARD DMG.
locks are dangerous in pvp, you say? yes, but the huner snares, burst DMG and kites them before they are even close enough to cast anything. They have a pet? so do you. USE IT!

hunters are VERY fun. and their DPS is VERY VERY HIGH, even in instances. its just that raids here dont let them dps and only use them to tranqu-shot bosses or pull mobs.

last night raid1 went for loatheb. hunters outDPSsed most of the raid because for once, they could / should dps hard. nice to know.

that's one of the reason I left aodelanke, too many asshole local guilds. A hunter is one of the BEST DPSer, one they have the ability to do so and two even if they get aggro then can drop it by faking death.

They're not my type of pvper though, just the style doesn't fit my personal preference, in tight corners it gets frustrating. but they are extremely fun PVEer.

I can't wait to get my rezorfen boar with armor, and in TBC they'll get a new skill "gore" which is exactly like claw, makes that THE best pet to have around.

Hunters are probably my fave class now. Downed 3 vs. 1 yesterday. Was so fun. Feign Death FTW LOL.

Fight was 2 hunters and 1 lock vs me. I suck at PvP...but managed to kill all three of them twice.

I'm playing on a PvP server (can't see which with English client) and they all jumped and killed me the first time in Arathi. My hunter is lvl 35...they were 35, 35, 37. I ran back and revived...hit track humanoids and found them. Took the lock out the first time while they were running. At first, the 2 hunters didn't even notice my cat eating the lock. He was dead and it was on to them. Troll's berserking + quick shots + rapid fire (with a quick FD in there to get the pets off me) took them both down at once. Sweet!

I then used a spell I've never used before. The one that makes you untrackable. One by one they revived...and died as I was there waiting. I figured "too fun to be true" and logged after.

Fun stuff.

Yep, I had a couple lucky crits in there...but it was 3 vs 1 after all.

because of the high dps, i managed to get on top of the BG sometimes with hunter. And we all know that at lvl 70 every chinese player is fully geared with pvp epics. i was really amazed. Just kept on stealing kills and bursting out dmg nonstop haha

Having tried all, a hunter in my opinion is the easiest to play with on a foreign server where 'pickup groups' etc are very rare due to language barriers. Its one class that can survive (PvE) and complete most quests (and even some instances) on its own.

I've got one of almost every character (exception being a warlock) but the hunter is still my first choice especially when playing solo.

PvP/Battlegrounds never really interested me, however they are great against casters - especially with the beastmaster tree and a very fast bow/gun.

Damn, My hunter is lvl 69 now, and yesterday dawned lock 67 and his companion Paly70. So easy, Lock died in 2 sec after few shoot with my pet on the back. While stupid QS was trying to heal him. Then kited the QS, freez trap, distance, beast master with rapid shot. QS was out of mana so died fast too. His armor sucked, hehe.
My mage is good at PVP with full epic T4,5. But i think now Hunter is best for PVP. SO easy with traps, pets and feign death. Feels sorry for horde once i get my full set of PVP at level 70.

Hunters in pre wrath were one of the best pvp classes in BM, and now they're more versatile, causing most chinese people to trade for or buying hunter accounts. its a fact and hunters really kill everything now. I'm specced MM and i kill everything easily except warriors. (yes i even give pallies a hard time with double silence shots)

all the clothiers are my food, and BM hunters can all go home ^^
