Flexi, Naomi, and I were online when Bizui's account was being used by someone else. Please contact Bizui if anyone can and tell him to try to recover it with id. Everybody, please bind your accounts to a card or your phones as to prevent hacking. This guy says he will target us.

I know that the Chinese client has the same blizzard authenticator service avilable. I'm guessing that is what they mean.

thats typical account stealer does ,even you give him card ,he still takes everything away from the account

the blizzard authenticator of the US version doesn't work for me.

And my app store is set to Hong Kong.. which mean i have no way to download the chinese version. Anyone has a work around?

with a recovery mj action, he can get his char back with all his stuff in 10 minutes.

i try to use a blizzard authentificator but the EU / US version i have on my phone don't work on chinese account :/

edit : i find the authentificator (china version) but i need to create a new apple identification because mine work only in my country.

Btw : never use the same password in wow & your mailbox.

i think somehow we can contact gm and freeze the account then when bizui has his id things he can recover it. I dont know if its too late...

you can use the authenticator tokens or you can use your wowcards to bind. when you log into battlenet, on the left side bottom, you will see 通行证安全. click on 密保产品 (protection items). you will see 3 items you can use.

1. Wowcard
2. Authentication Token
3. Android or Apple phone (or whatever supports the program it gives i suppose)

easiest would be the wowcard. just follow the steps. I havent done it yet and will do it soon.

for those of you who tried to use the us authenticator for your apple or android phones...dont lol use the chinese one i guess they have their own client. just use the china battlenet site

I lose my phone more often than anything, so the toggle or wow card make more sense to me. Kinda like how you have to change wow to play in China, it would make sense the phone app at least needs some tweeks too. (too much work)

The store, homepage, anything can be changed just scroll to the bottom and set the region.
My desktop always goes to the Korean page, betcause I bought the comp in Korea, but it just takes a second to change it. (however annoying it may be)

Did buzui buy his account on taobao or smth? Otherwise yeah you guys should absolutely protect your accounts with a matrix, never imagined so many ppl didn t protect their accounts.

I believe it may have been an actual hacker. Taobao accounts really arent worth it haha. Just really pissed me off how the hacker was so obnoxiously cocky about stealing the account. The threat was that he may target the guild. Stay aware, stay safe, STRANGER DANGER! lol

Well I hardly see how a hacker can target a specific group of people. As long as you don't share your login with anyone, don't buy chars on taobao or from anyone, don't use the id any random guy hurried to lend you and protect your account with a matrix you are fine.
The only thing that could potentialy compromise the security of our account is the use of custom launchers. Also try to not click on any links posted by any random first time poster on the forum.

I've been playing with complete strangers for years and never had my account hacked so guys don't start to get parano and enjoy the game

This and get your ID from a "real" friend you can trust. Don't trust people who would like to lend you an ID on this forum either. As long as they got a scan of it they can take it back.
