Game crash after updating to US client 4.3

I updated my US client to 4.3
Redid the fix.

Now game crashes when try to log on to china wow with US client.

error msg

ERROR #0 (0X85100000) ASSERTION FAILURE!

Please help

i followed the sticky step and redid everything, still not working

Ummmm is it even released? i can still log in with my 4.2... i think it is a pre release DL not ready to play yet dude.

4.3 is not released in china yet and wont be until they work out a few kinks. its just available for download. Should be online next week or so though. they've been working on it so that we get caught up to the rest of the world

you guys didn't read what i said it seems Sad

I updated my US client to 4.3 (4.3 is live on US server) I was playing it for a while.

like previously US client 4.2 with the fix applied, can log on to china WOW 4.1.

however this time, US client 4.3 with the enlaunch fix, can not log on to china wow 4.2, the client crashs and gives this error.

Make a backup of your unmodified 4.3 client first, then follow the steps and rename the MPQs with the highest number value by adding .bak at the end.

EDIT: Error #0 often means that the firewall is acting up. Try disabling it and see if it works.

tried your method uru still not working, and its not a firewall issue, I can log in with the chinese client just fine, except its unplayable for me without addons and i don't plan to learn too much hanzi

Nobody knows ak he is a mystery.

He will magicly appear from stardust once 4.3 is live to help us.

I don't think he actually plays on chinese servers. There was another user as well, just like him. Both of them had good knowledge of how the game functions though, so no biggie there.

You should ask him next time.

one of the things i noticed - it crushes only if u put @ in the account name, if there's no @, it doesn't, but obviously u can't log in
