Samish has only got 3G internet, due to His apartment being too new to have basic utilities such as internet in place =(, as such Samish cannot afford to download a huge 15 g patch, as 3G internet is limited =).

Samish's request is this: can anyone send a copy of the updated WOW to Samish's home? Samish will pay all expenses in game cards ^^.

Hey just a note, I don't think you'll have to redownload the whole client if you restore the english wow.exe. Perso I think it's the chinese server fix that fucked up the last patch and made me redownload everything.

And for your request I would help but I don't have any DVD burner. If nobody answer your call try to go in one of those small video game shops and see if they can dl a client for you. Maybe some wangba can help you too.

Or go squat a cafe with wifi for a week or two lol!

You know, Samish was actually thinking about sitting outside starbucks for an hour or two ^^. Been on the forums looking for a fix, have replaced all original US wow files, deleted cache and wtf, which helped drop the download by 2gb's (dont know why ^^).

Even 2 GB's down, this is still too much for a 3G connection, everyone in New Zealand (Samish's motherland) and Australia are really angry about this patch, as unlike in the US, we are all on limited data connections, and 14-16 GB's would simply wipe most of our connections for the month.

O, how Samish wish's for the days of manual updates to come back.

If only Samish was not the only one playing in 昆明 haha =).

Just got today the U-drive. (delivered sat at the office but was at home)

Tomorrow (tuesday) afternoon (china time) mail delivery man will pick up the USB drive which starts the delivery to Kunming.
