In China can you buy like WoW scratch cards that can win you in game items etc?

Probably, because only caught half the conversation, i got this wrong but thought i would just check.

Yes it's pretty common to sell game cards ingame for gold I guess thats what you refer too?

No, he's referring to the cards that actually get you an item. The ones where you enter a code,etc... and get a limited edition mount/pet. Basically, the TCG Loot Cards. I think it is possible in China since Malice has been using them as prizes for guild event winners.

there are card shops all over. if in Guangzhou i know exactly where to go,, but if in another city you will have to ask around for a game card shop.

WARNING: packs of cards are random and the you may or may not get a scratch loot car, which may or may not be permanent.

buying singles is the sure way to get the card you want (do research before you just go by the pic) but mount cards often cost hundreds if not a thousand rmb.

erm, i'm not really sure how it works to be honest. is it like the footy cards you used to get. you buy a pack and see what you get?

u buy a 'booster' or package with some cards, i dont know the exact number. They are all random, and most of them won't give u anything in-game, they are just to play the actual WoW Cards game. The 'drop' chances of those cards, such as the spectral tiger are very rare, thus the high prices. At the US servers, this tiger can sell for up to 500 dolars.

you go to a redeeming website and enter the code,,, they will give you another code you take to a specific NPC in game and redeem it.

for China you must buy the chinese version,, english versions only work on english servers... i have this english scratch card... pisses me off.

I assumed, maybe incorrectly, that you bought a pack and didnt know what was in it. is this not correct?

From your comments it sounds like you buy specific cards for specific items at a price.

How much does a booster pack usually cost?

Booster packs there is no guarantee of getting a scratch card (its very random. Bought three packs on day: go three scratch cards, granted they were cheaper ones. Then went without for a month of buying). Chances are you just get the playing cards.

Pack run around 20-25ish per pack.

I don't bother buying pack for the chance at scratch cards anymore. Since I buy them for guild prizes, I just buy them single from the store.

but now that store has gone AWOL. so until we relocate it or a new one... cool prizes will be limited. dont worry we have a small stash still.
