Hey guys, not sure where to post this kind of social activity, but yeah, suppose this is the place where people can see it.

As the topic said, to celebrate (or whatever reason it might be) the long long time of knowing each other, we, members of the foreign community, come from different corners of the world, destined to be in Shanghai, should HAVE A PARTY.

Yeah, anyone interested please have your say here. Time, location, what to eat, where to play, ...

We should get the number of at least 10.

This kind of party is just a way how people can meet each other, and go out together.

First of all, the meeting point should be a restaurant where people can start eating and have a chat.

Or, in case someone can provide the place to hold a proper party, that would be great.

And then, we can go to a bar or KTV or somewhere else you might be interested.

Please share your ideas. Anyone located in Shanghai is welcome to join in.

Okay, I was just thinking about where we could meet because I don't have anything better to do at work and I'd like to suggest that we meet for lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants on Dagu Rd 大沽路 (Near the corner of the North-South and Yan'an Elevated Rds. There's some decent Mediterranean, French, Italian and Indian restaurants there, so we have some options on what to actually eat.

For timing, given that we all have a long weekend coming up at the end of April, we could aim for April 29 - May 1 (the long weekend) or May 5-6, the following weekend. Sadly, I have no time available on the weekends before that.

I would like to also suggest dollar shop which is a Macau hotpot (1pot per person), They have many restaurants all around the city, and it's freakin delicious, atmosphere is good, and at 15RMB the 700ml of Steinlager there is no way we don't leave the place dead drunk and endup the day without a glorious throw up.

Okay, is everyone okay with meeting on 29 April? Its the first day of the long weekend so everyone will have 2 days to rest and recover?

I'm happy with wherever we eat, so if we want to save some cash for extra game time, then I'm happy to go with a hot pot restaurant.
