After several weeks of the current raiding schedule of 2 nights for progression and 2 nights for gearing up others, we have run into numerous difficulties. The progression group doesn’t have enough time to actually progress far, and new people may not see how to join a regular raiding group which will try out new content.

Therefore, after some discussion, we are going to try a new structure for the raiding teams which will offer more time for progression, and, hopefully, more relevant content for new raiders. This new schedule will be in place for the next 2 weeks as a trial and we are always open to suggestions on further improvements that will help you.

NOTE: These are experimental setups and will be modified regularly in the next few weeks until we find a good option.

Progression Raid Group (Team 1)
Schedule: Mon, Wed, Sat from 8:45pm (UPDATED)
Goals: To push through ToT and progress into heroic content
Membership: Basically fixed team with ilvl 500+.
Talk to: Blackhorn, Katryn (Easi, Easiest, Marez)

Second Raid Group (Team 2)
Schedule: Tue, TBD from 9:00pm. (UPDATED)
Goals: To gear up in MSV, HoF, ToES and start raiding in ToT when average ilvl reaches approx 495-500. Raids will probably include ToT Boss 1 (Jin’rokh), ToES bosses (especially elite mode Protectors), and HoF.
Membership: New raiders, PVPers who want to raid, Team 1 alts
Talk to: Katryn (Easi, Easiest, Marez), Flexi (Lavaburst), Pwn (Katsuma), Tim (Boney, Stabmon, Sacrilege)

For both teams, we are ideally looking for people to be there regularly. However, even if you have an irregular schedule, it doesn’t mean you can’t join us sometimes.

Please inform one of the raiding organisers listed above if you’d like to take part, and if you have any suggestions, please feel free to post them below.

I believe most of guilders dont read forum time to time ,can you set a guild message to let them know you already posted here the change

also ,if possible ,can we do a survey about 2nd team attendace on every Wed ,dont have to be very accurate ,just need to know who definitely can't come on that day or days ,that way we can arrange saving spots/finding replacement

I was partly AFK while the post-raid discussion was happening last night; also, I didn't get a chance to put this suggestion to you before you went offline.

The one problem I saw is that we'll kill all the easy bosses on Tuesday (as we usually would) with a full strength team, but then be down at least one core healer on Thursday, when we're working on new bosses and, presumably, need the most experienced/best geared healers. If we're handicapped in healing, I think it somewhat undermines the premise of an extra progression day.

I made the suggestion in gchat that we could do Monday, Wednesday, Saturday.

It still keeps the non-consecutive day format, allows backup progression raiders the chance to get some loot off the easy bosses on Wednesday, while ensuring the normal raiders are there for the new bosses.

Hmm...that makes a lot of sense, Ninsun. For this, lets as on Tuesday night how many of the progression group can be there consistently on Mon, Wed and Sat. I'm sure I can reorganise my schedule that way at least. Gives us a last chance on Monday nights to beat a troublesome boss.

I don't want to seem like I'm intruding on something that probably won't end up involving me too much, but I think people who want to join this second raid should be strongly encouraged to make an honest post here about when they can attend, I'd even go so far as to say make it a requirement. Half of the second raid is going to be made up of core raider alts (that is, people we know will turn up) anyway - however, all this planning could be for nought if players in the other half of the raid make off-hand comments of commitment, in whispers or in-game mail, but don't turn up in the end anyway.

When it comes down to it, the suggestion - I do feel a little self-indulgent making it - is to accommodate the healers. Another thing that occurred to me is that it seems a little unfair that Nutted would potentially miss out on getting a new kill because of the Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule; like it would be for Blackhorn if the schedule was Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday. Personally, the reason I use my 'night-off allowance' () on progression nights is precisely for those first kills.

yeah ,i totally agree with that people who want raids regularly ,people should post here about when they can attend ,its OK that sometimes cant come ,but should let us know in advance,raid spots should be always saved for regular raiders ,if you cant give any guarantee about regular attendance ,then we cant guarantee your raid spot either ,people should know that
