By the way, the trailer is awesome but I wish they would do a protoss version or a zerg version, I got an idea for the zerg version.

start off with a slimey blob of flesh with a hole in the middle moving ever so slowly, then they reveal that the blob of flesh is actually a queen or something and the queen start to scream in pain sssssssssseeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhharrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!
then suddenly! masses of zerglings pops out the pussy....I mean the alien hole.....then the infected terran queen of the first game comes out and say: "there's alot more of where that came from"

protoss have some flying unit that can hover on top of buildings and power them up like pylons !!!

MASS ZERGS, MAX untis (200) on screen for maximum fun (an winning by making you opponents slower PC lag due to heavy graphics... ^^)

man I tried to zerg one of my friend on the hunter map, he was terran and the "choke point" strategy had me, he manage to kill all my MASS army.

he put a bunker, a barrack, 2 tanks and one repair man at the choke point. those alone kill all my zergs. he constantly repair his bunker and his barrack which got alot of HP. and I couldn't reach his tanks which was siege behind. I lost that game.

The next round I just upgrade overlords asap which carry units and carried 2 sets of zerglings to his base, he was using the same tatic which most of his defense force was at the choke point.

I kill off all his miners and borrowed, he then give up. lol

the Tower Rush can also pwn some so-called gosu (damn thats good to imagine some korean noob about to shot himself because he got owned by tower rush)

Still I was a mass hydra warrior.

i love to see my my friends all be ruled by the overlords like me....

on team games we usually just zerged one opposite team with our starting pions. lol then it's 2 against one.

on 3v3, starting 2v1 may work but watch out strike back, 2 of 3 are defenseless, forces being away, it's not easy for the remaining guy to defend 2 allies against 2 enemies.
starting 3v1 not only denotes a serious lack of sportive spirit , it's also quite stupid, this guy rushed out, everyone is defenseless.


Other nice tactics when successful:
the nydus rush
the zerg tower rush
the hunt of every overlord with, let say, corsairs, pawning in air (cool against people who let their overlord packed at same spot)
the tank drop near the minerals or the gas, in preference in altitude
dark templar rush against a terran can work quite well also (as terran turret come quite late)
...

damn I miss those great moments...

looks like blizzard expand on existing tatics that player used. you see the gameplay trailer? they pratically made a flying pilon for the protoss, it's tower rush all over again.

the "gamaplay treailer" is like less than 10 seconds long including all footage.

what are you talking about? I've just check my "gameplay trailer" and it's 21mins long detailing some of the ideas that blizzard might impliment. They explained A LOT of things particularly the protoss units.

I was talking about the sc2 official website trailer that included some gameplay vids... Anyways, i don't think you can use those flyin pylons to cannon rush cuz they might need too much time to get ready...

yeah probably, they look like upper tier units, by the time we get those flying pylons; the terrans or the zergs probably already got counter units ready.

But then, starcraft was always about counter of a counter of a counter.
