So, according to the news they're opening district 8 on the 25th. (At least, that's the translation my gf supplied me with).

I tried to join on shanghai and guangzhou servers but the ping for me is too high, I'm thinking of trying the beijing servers but with a new district so close, and i do so love leveling up with a bunch of other newbs, even if i can't understand the barrens general (probably a good thing)

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone was interested in starting out on a new server in district 8 together for fun, if so, let me know and we can pick a server when it opens up on the 25th.

Only downside, my other character is on a server opened up 2 hours before i started on district 7, is that there will be significant queues.. but then it just feels like being back in the US for me, so no big deal.

Anyway, anyone who wants to level up and actually run instances, even if you barely speak chinese it's still doable as long as you can understand the part where they're asking people to join them in the instance this'd be a great opportunity.

the problem is often the same. starting on a different area can mean lots of pings according to where you play from. So, if you tell us where you are right now, it'll help for the ping evaluation.

I'm in shijiazhuang, hebei. Near beijing. District 7 has low ping, I haven't tried beijing, although I'm fairly close to it. Shanghai was better than Guangzhou seems to be, District 3 wasn't anything special that I can remember.

Hum, then, you should try area 2, with the Laowai & Co guild of Lepanda. You'd get a really low ping, and I'm sure Lepanda would be ready to help you ^^

I'm on Shanghai 1, my Beijing ping is terrible.
