Get auto-loot add on

/cast pickpocket
/stopcasting
/cast sap/cheapshot/ambush/garrote

This basically makes your openers auto pickpocket with only one button.
Perfect for farming; but there is one problem tho, sometimes monsters resists your pickpocket and that will bring you out of stealth, something you don't want to happen when you go to sap. (improved or not)


Suppose you have two swords/daggers
One of them does 10 fixed damage and its speed is 0.10 seconds (100dps) lets call it weapon A
and the other you have a 300 fixed damage and its speed is of 3 seconds (100dps) lets call it weapon B

Both weapons are the same right?
Well you are wrong, in terms of dps yes they are the same. However Rogues have instant attacks, which they perform with their main hands (mutilate aside) so these main hand attack basically increases your dps because they ignores the speed of the weapon and uses the weapon's attack to cause damage.
e.g.
using these two weapons on the main hand the results will be in a span of 6 seconds and using 1 sinister strike (suppose sinister strike does additional 60 damage)
weapon A: 10 damagex30, +70 damage from sinister strike and again other 10damage x 30===> total amount of dps in these 6 seconds->670

Weapon B: 100damagex3 +160 damage from sinister strike and again another 100x3===> total amount of dps in these 6 seconds-->760

clear?

Keep 3 stacks of flashing powder on your bags.
Keep 2 stacks of Deadly and instant poison and 1 stack of the other poisons on your bags.

2.1.0 = sap will not bring you out of stealth anymore

Maybe because with the new patches it's an option in the Interface Option... we missed a lot of update

I got "AutoLootPocket" though, but doesn't seem to work...

Which one do you use? Where can we find it?

So I suppose we need to have the "auto loot" option in the Interface Options to enable this addon...

My auto loot was set on default... however, I only tried this on TBC >.<

On duels vs. Hunters:
Only works in TBC or engineer rogues...

Tired and pissed with the hunters that in duels are often sitting on a Flared icetrap.

What you do is get the Gyroscopic Ice reflector or turn on Cloak of shadows and sprint in and use your openers...

*as I write this, I remember that on a previous patch they changed the ice reflector, I don't remember if it prevents being ice trapped anymore or not can somebody confirm? naklin?*

Cheapshot, sinister strike, wait until cheapshot almost wears off...

Charge the Gnomish Death Ray BAM!
Kidneyshot
backstab/sinisterstrike/mutilate
throw thorium or any thorium grenade for an extra 3 non dimnishing return stun
finish target with your favorite skill


Don't quote me if it doesnt works, i haven't tried it cuz my rogue took goblin bombs instead of gnomish

Enveloping Shadows - Very useful, in PvE and PvP
settings. Topped with Heightened Senses, you can generally avoid any
AoE attack 19% of the time, without adding together your resistance gear.

This includes PvE boss encounters, PvP
encounters with Frost Nova, Arcane Explosion, Blast Wave, War Stomp,
Fears, etc. It can really screw up an enemy player when you resist an
attack they usually rely on to when.

Nerves of Steel- Very useful in PvP and solo gameing, Dangerous in group.

The reason it is dangerous in group it is because of how threat and aggro works, the boss uses an AoE fear for and you happen to resist it, he will come after you and whip ur lil ass, and moreover it could lead to a group wipe.
