This is actually not a scam per se. They do this and have done this for a long time. The reason they do not use there own chars is to avoid banning for being chinese-gold farmers. So, when they rent yours, it has a diffrent play-log eg. taken months to get to 60/70 and therefor is less likely to get cought in blizzards filter. However, they DO get cought from time to time and then the point is that it's your problem to get blizzard to unlock the char again.

When I left EU I thought about renting out my char like this, but at the time I thought I would be able to play from China. Since then I just didnt feel like it and eventualy I cancelled my EU subscription.

hah i took your information....now they will give me one 30 RMB card per week as payment for my US charcter...they will give me next sunday....if i receive and all is well i will post here and give you the contact...so if anyone has a US or EU charcter you can rent it out for RMB game cards...

pre TBC game cards went for 450g ingame...after TBC i think we can charge over 700-800g easily now... so its a good deal if your charc is just sitting dormant in a US or EU server


by the way they pay 2 month subscription for your us charcter for free..

As mentioned, you run the risk that the US/EU char will get banned and they (IPS) will not help you directly. Well, they will send you a guide/examples on what to write to Blizzard (at least I heard they did that).

How they will fill money on your EU/US account or if you have to do that is also to considere.

As I remember it the price was actually quite good, somethuing like 10$ per day.

Warlocks and Rogues where, at the time, the once they were most intresseted in.

Btw - Be sure they leave some 5000 on your US account for december. You want that epic dragon, right?

Unfortunatly, a 30 yuan card a week is less than what a EU subscription costs and we left EU before TBC, so we are only level 60.
