as the title says im fluent in english and french although i prefer to be in an english guild.
I have a level 60 warrior and hunter from the EU servers. i have pre-tbc 40 man raid experience so i can get around in WOW.
Ive been learning chinese for 3 years so i can get around with pin yin inside wow.

Before i choose a realm i wanted to find an english (or french) speaking guild were i could be stable in and PVP/PVE raid with. i have teamspeak and vent.

i am currently in Beijing but im willing to play in any server were there will be good latency.

once ive found a server to settle in i will play tauren Tank as i have the most experience in that class. mainly just want to have some good laggless tanking and fun (have been playing EU-shadowmoon for the last 2 years in china, very very hard)

also do you know if as a beijinger i can play in the shanghai servers without lag? also when you are on the WoW Launcher, there is an option of 4 realms/servers, i was woundering what they were.

(once ive found a good realm i think its safe to say i can hit lvl 70 in about 2 weeks)

With my own experiences I would say that we can't play on Shanghai Realms from Beijing without lag. If other can confirm, please do...

hey thanks, i cant play alliance cos i have no experience in that faction, therefor i wont be able to do quests, get attunments etc cos of the chinese.

Also i have a question, when at the beijing realm list, at the bottom there is a choice of two realm lists, "2 (chinese character) and 6 (chinese character)" is 2 Beijing 1, and 6 beijing 2?

Also i am only able to log into 1 of the 4 servers (the 4 servers of choice at the WoW launcher) does the happen for everyone?

as for the realm numbers, we had a merge a few months ago. 2 is for Beijing 2, where lepanda is, and 6 is for Beijing 6 (according to my memory).

And if you signed up for one realm at your inscription, you can only get in that realm at the launcher. you can buy other cd keys and log in any of them, but I'm not sure it's worth it.

Well, for the quests problem, you could use an english version of the game so that you may understand what you have to do

There is a Beijing 2 and a Beijing 6 because before that was two different server (Like Shanghai and Beijing now). Now that they are united, you can play on any Realm of those two lists.
As for the launcher problem, don't know, I don't use the launcher. I put: SET realmlist "cn2.grunt.wowchina.com" in the Realmlist file and just use the WoW.exe

Hum... my 22 000ping is a particular case, I have an optimum crap condition to play
But I tried to play with my Beijing account from a Shanghai cyber-café during the summer, and no problem at all, no more than 300ms, so... If someone from Beijing could tell how his ping is when he plays on Shanghai (Ganaat ? )

my ping to SH server used to get to about 200 after 1 p.m.
during day time its about 800-2000 ms. (One second I'm fighting very well, next I'm dead, and I didn't know why )

But I'm in BJ and my ping to Beijing 2 is about 70-90 so enjoy fast connection down here.

BTW if you re-roll on alliance we help u of course. U experienced so it shouldn't be very hard. get help from internet and us for the bosses and instance running.
Also we have lvl 48 warrior leveling up so u can catch up (cause he is little bit slow)
Any character is fine at this point

thanks you guys, but i found 10 or so friends who will join me on Beijing 2 server, horde. we go to the same school and will all start at lvl 1, should be fun much im gonna choose which realm our guild will be on in about an hour, need to find an easy server name (characters for completely non-chinese buddies) any of you are welcome, no lvl req or raiding forced etc.

also when you say play in english do you meen the whole use EU or US game then switch realmlist thing? and if so, what happens when china or EU/US releases a new patch?

Its i think the first Beijing horde foreign guild, so if your a hordy looking for a guild, we are aimed at lvling as a team and then in a month or so end game raiding.

I'm also playing on Warsong PRC PvP Server and go to the same school which massacraur is going. Joined anarchy and now in the lvling process. On Eu servers i had a lvl 70 roque and some lvl 30-40's. Livin in beijing, i now decided to play on chinese servers.

U can join a chinese guild with foreigners inside. Many of our mates can't speak chinese but we use skype to communicate during raids.

yes i answer your post m8, we are a serious guild. Almost everyone from my guild are in it for the end game raiding. We love everything about raiding and goo all pro tactics in RFC... cos were cool:D
we are leveling as fast as we can, i know i have about 15 friends who want to join but either have a mac and are trying to get bootcamp, are trying to get me so they can buy a game card, or have a lvling character in the guild.
as i said on the semiserious guild post, we have a dkp system, a website, raid manager etc- for when it is necessary.
