The problem is that it patches from 2.1.3(6898) to 2.2.0(7272)

Currently, our chinese version was a special one 2.1.4 (....)

I kept a 2.1.3(6898) game and i patched it... now i need to wait for my realm to be online before i check if it works

Do you have seen the list of all the problems known due to this new patch?
For EU, the list is impressive...

By the way, in EU the voice chat is not available, I wonder if it will be working here ... don't think so...

PS: Maybe, it could be a good thing to have a sticky post with the different game file we need. A sticky "Have to download" page where we can find the US exe file etc.

I just downloaded mine through the us realmlist (background downloading thing), downloaded the 400+ mb 2.2.0 retail patch and it successfully patched >.< but the servers are down so I can't say for sure whether it works, but its looking good so far.

all servers down except #8 since this morning...

I just updated to 2.2.0 7272 without hitch... then a new patch came out on the US side.. It patched me to 2.2.2 (7318)-en am I screwed now?

I only renamed the WTF config.wtf and realmlist.wtf files.. (I don't have any other files like WOW.exe etc..

Uhhh, yes.... replace your 2.1.4 files with the 2.1.3 files that you originally had (if not, you'll have to get a backup from somebody, I no longer have them). Then patch up as you'd normally do.

In other words, you would need to replace all the files you had before you overwritten them with the 2.1.4 files. (assuming you hadn't changed anything before the 2.1.3 patch)

German Version was easy to fix with patch 2.2.0(7272).....

I update my Chinese Wow client to latest version and changed the WoW.exe to the German Wowclient latest patch 2.2.0(7272).

Start WOW and Log In ...... Worked very easy

try a repair ^^ you'll see, then when you are at the old version patch it, all should be fine.

I cant re-install, i dont have the original game anymore...I tried the repair thing but i'm not sure it worked, a chinese message appeared. I will see, in the worse case i will play chinese client as im already lvl 70 quests are not "so" important, but anyway, its crap :p

When i launch REPAIR, it tells me that the repair thing cant repair my 2.1.4 version of French wow, anybody knows what to do please ???
