I had to reformat my hard drive and have now reinstalled TBC and have got the same problem. When I load the game, I cant see any realms in the realm lists. Really weird...spent about 3 hours reading through the forum and have tried a lot of things but still cant get it to work.

I have the fonts installed. The realmlist is set at cn1.grunt.wowchina.com and the config.wtf has a realmname set for 马多栏.

Interestingly, in the config file, the locale is set for enUS...i tried to change this, but it always switches back when after I load the game.

Anyway, if anyone has any solutions...would be nice to hear. Where is Naklin when you need him eh? Smile

when did i ever say the locale setting inside the file had ANY meaning, stItCh ? Please revise your comments when you refer to me, kthx. Otherwise just refrain from correcting me if you maybe are confused and don't know what input locale for non-unicode character tables means. That may have been the only time when i talked about locale, and that has to do with the OS rather than a file inside of your game folder, as WoW uses non-unicode character sets for text input (as dos a Command prompt window, for example).

So again, please quote me where i said the allegedly wrong information, or just stop letting people think i am giving wrong advice.

Sorry that i did not post it erlier could save u guys some time and props to ur good posts before i did not find it without knowing what u guys did before

So Naklin what are we going to do ,my mean, how we get the build version of the exe rebuild. I believe you also see that the set Language"deDE" is in the config file and i belive that string has a conflict with the chinese .exe!

Anyway it works lets hope the next patch brings back same build numbers!

my 2 cent :****:

string doesn't conflict.
i took it out and it made no difference at all, weirdly....

i am still on that realmlist bug.... crapy and nasty.
