i just started wow
i want to play on chinese server, but i have a US version of the game
i followed the guide
1. Installed version 1.11.0 of the original game
2. Patched to 1.12.0
3. Patched to 2.3.0
4. Changed the realmlist.wtf to cn7.grunt.wowchina.com
5. Editted realmName to 风暴之鳞
6. Editted the Base file to CN server
7. Created a new folder and placed in all the fonts.

however, i cannot see a realm list. There was a question before this thread but the method given was for a pervious patch, anyone has any ideas on how to overcome this? in the game, there is only the option of selecting US as server area, i clicked on it, and there is no list...

you wont see realmlist or get in unless you already have a char created.
go to netbar, spend 2 rmb, fire up chn wow, log on, create char, log out, pay, go home, enjoy the game

I'm not sure about this but last night I created a new account on my english wow that has already been accustomed to connecting to chinese server. All I did was change it from cn3 to cn2. I logged in, see the server reccomendation list, clicked the options and asked the game to reccomend me a server. Then an xml error popped up but after I clicked OK, it says 'wrong server list' and I clicked 'open the correct one' and it shows the whole list in chinese name. Weird.

this was my gf's account, she is a level 12 gnome, in cn3
she is in a realm, i dont know what went wrong.
