2.3.2 out (in the US)

So what does that mean here? I've heard that the patches don't go live on the Asian servers the same time they go live on the US servers. How long does it usually take, and does that cause any problems with playing the English version of the game on the Chinese servers?

I'm new here, in fact I haven't bought a "reload" card yet to get my Chinese wow experience started yet. I've been logging into my US account to chat with my friends but now I can't unless I download the new patch. However I have a feeling that if I download the new patch I won't be able to play on the Chinese servers without reinstalling and then updating to 2.3.0. Am I right?

Do I need to wait till the Chinese servers update to 2.3.2 to install it?

if you install 2.3.2 you wont be a able to connect to china realms.

For the version updates, sometimes it's the same day sometimes later (7 months later is the longest recorded) Smile

might wanna say it again for everybody who doesn't read the forums:

NEVER EVER PATCH!!!!! NEVEEEEEEEEEER, unless you cannot connect to chinese servers anymore due to version whatever.
THEN, still go to www.wowchina.com first and check CHINA'S current version.
if it is HIGHER than your current WoW, then find same version patch on internet (wowwiki) and patch.

you play in china, right?

disable automatic patch downloading, and NEVER load with the LOADER from Wow. ALWAYs directly WOW.EXE

So 2.3.2 is available for download from wowchina now. I'm taking that as a good sign that it will probably be coming out soon here, yay.

well it is Tuesday morning here, and instead of the usual maintenance screen i have "invalid game version" corruption stuff... dont read chinese so i am not sure what the chinese site says...

anyone got the info on this?

Yep, it is because the servers are not up yet...check the wowchina.com

everytime you patch, your realmlist.wtf will be overwritten.

hey everyone,

i've noticed that the new patch 2.3.2 is out, but my wow seems to have a problem with that. I play an english version on the chinese servers.

first i downloaded the USen patch...obviously it doesn't work because i play on chinese servers.

Then i reinstalled, and downloaded the chinese patch. but i can't open the chinese patch, because a window then pops up in chinese saying 无法安装升级补丁，因为缺失如下数据：: "enUS" 如果这个问题仍然存在，您可能需要运行修复工具或者重新安装游戏以解决它。如果您无法解决这个问题，则请联系我们的技术支持部门。 (SetLanguage)

its something about patched in english before, so it can't patch now.

can someone help me pls

Okay, the problem here is that you have to download the patch that fits your WoW client. eg. If you're using enUS, download enUS 2.3.2, or enGB, download enGB 2.3.2 and etcetera.

You cant use the Chinese patch because you're using an English WoW Version
