Hey everyone,

I recently arrived in shanghai and giving up on playing wow wasn't an option for me so i happily decided to create a chinese wow account yesterday. I'm gonna play on the chinese version of the game.

I've been through the registration process by getting a CD key and toping up my account with a 30 Kuais prepaid card. Here is my problem: I still cannot log in, i get a message that says something is wrong either with my password or my account name...

Can anyone gimme a hand to solve this issue?

Are you able to log into your account using the same username / password on the9 site?

Well i was actually able to log in The9 website but i've finally found the answer to my problem: I've reinstalled the game and noticed that there was no realmlist.wtf file in the wow folder. So i've just created one, with the apropriate realm address.

Now it works perfectly fine, hope it will help those who are in the same case..

Well, I have the same problem except I cant even log onto the9 website. Im crying at the moment because 1year and half of characters have just been lost.
