How to instal WoW on mac and play it on the chinese realms

Ok, so its accually VERY easy. I don't know if this will work on every mac platform, but just try it.

-First instal WOW
-Then download all the patches (this will always reset your realmlist/Patchlist so don't bother always changing it)
-search for the wow patch at your time (ex: patch 2.4...)
-once you get to the last patch, instal it, and Don't Play the game! go to your wow directory and change the realmlist to:
set realmlist "cn#.grunt.wowchina.com"
set patchlist "cn#.grunt.wowchina.com"
change the # depending on your group realm (cn1, cn2...) and voila, log in, it should work!

TYVM! But, I'm not entirely sure if it works, it did work with my sisters MacBook pro so... Tell me if it entirely does, it will help a whole lot of ppl!

just the post i was looking for all weekend. I've tried to change the address in the realmlist.wtf and now it's asking me to update.
right now i'm also playing on a private server from somewhere in the UK, so if i would update the game i wouldnt be able to play on the private server anymore. any way to update the game to the latest 2.4.3 patch and then play on Chinese server?

I already tried just changing the address but to no avail...

PS: since i'm new here: on what server are the most foreign players?
