Hey Guys !

Been a while since I posted here. Just wanted to let you know that English speaking players on Shanghai 1 realm: 山丘之王 are alive and kicking !!

The guild name is "the foreigners", I think we number over 20 lvl 70's and quite a lot more below all racing to max lvl. We are taking Heroics most days and many of us are playing 5 times a week. (Some more).

We have a Ventrilo server and are eager to have anyone who feels like it come join the fun. It's a matter of weeks before we start Kara, we have all the required classes we just need some more gear.

So, if you feel like it, roll a character !...

EDIT: I just logged on to my shanghai 1 account and checked your server and you had SO MANY PPL ON!!! and a lot were level 70!!! I had no idea so many foreigners would play on one server.

Ya I'm not sure how it happened. When I started my toon a few months ago there were only a handful of English speakers. Now we have tons, its GREAT!

We started out looking for mostly PvP action, but we're headed for raiding too. Whichever you're looking for its a good chance you'll find it with us. And since we're new you won't be too far behind everyone.

We could use more Warlocks and Paladins, of any spec. A couple more Priests (I'm hoping to find a good Shadow priest for our main riad group), and Tanks would be nice too. But feel free to come on over and roll whatever you want

This is Manimarco and i just want to tell you guys that i created a new shaman(another one) and he is being powerlvld(the shame ) by someone right now. Ive played the class to a high lvl before so i know the ropes but i cant level another character from 1-70 so ill see you when the guy finishes.

Well just an update really....the guild cleared Kara last night and we should have it on farm now for the next month leading up to Zuluman.

Hey guys i really want to plaay with you guys, but like black_ j i can't level another 70, most likeyl if i start then ill be done around christmas...=()

So if anyone knows of some kind of powerleveling service or somebody who can do it for me or wants to sell there character then id be most grateful...

Other than that i can't wait to play with you guys, myself speaking because it feels good that u guys have succeeded and cleared KLZ, something which my attempt at a foreigner guild never managed =)

Trust me i know, having played Horde side in europe before i moved shanghai, lack of horde foreigner players made me roll alliance....=()

What's Pvp like on your server? I'm playing on a Beijing server now but im dissapointed. I'm on alliance and they keep quitting the second we are outnumbered which causes a string of losses.

What's it like on the Shanghai servers? Do you actually have good games? How often does horde win?

Oh yeah and does anyone know what the connection is like from Beijing to the Shanghai servers?

well basically pvp is the same on sahnghai for alliance...funnilly enough...probabley because if uwant to win a bg alliance side then u have to join an AV UT = team speak 80 peeps joining same time, other than that its jsut pure chance ;-)

What about horde side? Is it any better?

i would think its more balanced....but apparently the ques on horde side are much longer than on alliance side...alliance side it takes 2 seconds to que for all Bg's and get in....one of my friends played horde and he had to wait 45 minutes to get into wsg....=P

That's similiar to how it was on my US server but swapped around. Alliance had to wait, Horde got instant ques.

I think i'd prefer instant ques over waiting, even if i do lose more. It's alot more fun to kill and lose then to wait around.

I might wait it out and see how it goes.

Well the obvious answer is that in the US and Europe, there are less horde than alliance, or at least used to be...much less... thats why the alliance had to wait around alot for bgs...however in china there are way more horde than alliance actually...so thats why the horde have to wait so long and alliance get the 2 second que ;-)

1. Congrats on hiting lvl 70

2. Connection BJ-SH sucks, 600-30'00000

3. Strategy in PVP: Que for AV and wait until screen pops up asking to join it. Don't join, que for WSG or other BG and than join AV. Wait and see if Alliance has 40 people, then stay. If AV starts and u have less people than Horde, wait and join WSG. If you stay you will lose for sure. WSG continues about 10-15 min, whilst AV about 30-60 min. While you farming WGS - you will get lucky and get 40 people on u side in AV, than you have 90% chance to win.

I hate playing AV and lose, rather I lose WSG, more points for me. Averaga I used to farm 1000-1500 points an hour. So I used to farm one S2 armor in 3-4 days. 5 armor in 20 days. If you doing better than this please let me know. I want to learn from you

I have had a lvl70 Warlock on Maduolan and still play there but i will add a toon on your server my chinese Guild is not so active anymore. I made an Warlock and Mage, darkstItCh and darkJuliask. Please add me if possible or i will contact you.

Btw just to let everyone know : you can actually play CWOW from other countries ^^ i am in France atm and i m playing since i got here few months ago. the MS doesnt go higher than 800 .

anyone have seen arena fight with 800 ms? Such a fun to watch.

the player is running at one place but melee can't hit him because it says "target not in front of you", only ranged can do something. than the guy disappears and appears somewhere near wall still running. Then disappears and re-appear somewhere again and tries to hit air. Its like watching movie “Jamper”.

My partner had lag spike and he was jumping all over arena, 2 rogues had hard time killing him, haha. Actualy we could win if they started killing him first, while I was DPS-ing

yes you can do paid transfers, check the9 lists or wowchina.cn
