According to my friend all you need to do is patch up to 3.0.3 and change the realmlist as usual. I'm not sure but i'm going to try soon. i'll keep you up to date.

ok so for some people it works for some people it doesn't. i just installed windows on my mac so i can use the fix. you should do that too for now

Yup, unluckily for Mac users the only way right now is to install Windows on your Mac and then install WoW.
