I think all the Hord / Alliance foreigners should consolidate onto one server. It would make alot of sense. I know peeps dont want to give officer and guildmaster status and yeah you have to pay but ultimatly it will be for the best. In the Uk at the moment the only way to get decent gear at 80 is in the larger raid group instances so we need to start forming larger groups. Let me know what you think......

It could be a good idea, now that transfers are possible.

But there is still a problem: lag. It's really hard to play from Beijing on Shanghai servers for instance.
And at least 4 guilds should be created according to wether they wanna be alliance, horde, pvp or pve...

Yeah, maybe though we need to choose either horde or aliance and realm, and then four one for each area. But i think it really needs to be done. Its silly for us all to be spread out. And it would be nice to know more foreigners in china, so we can socialise inside and outside of game.

Also for the 80 content we need bigger guilds!

Frankly I did, but not for long... Personally I can't handle that before.
I can't play before 21h30 when I have time for WOW, then raid already start and almost finished.

I cant speak chinese and dont know any chinese players at the moment. Besides it would be nice to know more foreigners in china.

This has been an issue since pre-TBC, trying to consolidate. As consolidations happen - as Glob said earlier, there are issues with latency. I've played actively on 3 "foreigner" populatd servers - shanghai, beijing, and guangzhou....from Sichuan. Beijing was way too laggy, guangzhou was OK but there wasn't really 'consolidation' amongst the few foreigners there, shanghai had some consolidation amongst the foreigners but (no offense) the majority are simply not very good players, and now I'm making my DK on Sichuan server where my gf's really good friend seems to play a lot, and the guild I'm in (while all Chinese) are helpful cool people who have T6 content on farm.

The moral of this story is, well, join one of the little 'pockets' if you can, play a lot of pvp if you like (just need a couple friends for that), and if you really want to raid seriously, learn Chinese and join a Chinese crew. You'll find foreigners in WOW China are much like foreigners in real China, if you go to the local ghetto "foreign bar" of whatever city yer in - you'll likely realize that there are only a few you actually want to get to know

There is issue with latency, but, there is ways to reduce it
I just start a few rolls since 1 months on french server and play with 450ms from shanghai to france. I feel good in PVE hard in PVP :/ But that's fine.
Roll DK or up 80, just think in CHina Mainland, There will be a huge population of DK
For exemple in France we had in outland departure zone 80% of DK.
I did Hell fire remparts without Healer at lvl 60 with 3 DK + 1 Lock + 1 Mage (me)

Full aoe, no heal... DK is cool... New class and talents make all the game easyier than before Oo

I'm not concerned with an overpopulation of DKs, as long as I play well and have friends to play with I don't see any problems with that

As for latency, depending on class, 450ms can be killer in PVE in difficult group content - I mean, imagine a warrior with half a second latency having to intercept mobs that can one hit your clothies, half a second can = dead people, I'll take every fraction of a second I can get. It's different if you're a background DPS class or somethin of course, as it's not as detrimental to the group's success.

you mentioned something how you reduce latency to french servers to about 450 ms. for someone like myself that has about 1.5k constantly that would be awesome! how did you get your latency to be so relatively low? do you use a proxy or did you get a different isp or what did you do?

any help is greatly appreciated!

SInce the new talents i can feel in low levls instances at the good level, people don't need to prepare any tech or anythink...they go ahead without think anymore and blast all... I remember low instance was a bit harder before... I don't knw if that's because of the DK+ New talents, but instances are going to be "NAWAK" and too easy... Let's see at lvl 80 when i'll have time to finish my leveling to see how the deal is with heroics instances then RAID 10 and 25 people with few friends on my server. But it looks like Naxx is more easy than KLZ was before. Other say that, we'll see by ourself.

Nevermind about lag... WOW as been nerfed for casuals and for litle boys. Then no problems about anythink, althought with lag
I'm a casual, but i'd like the game stay same as before. I don't like easy mode in Game always play hardcore think hardcore and listen hardcore since more than 10 years now...

Foreign shards on BJ server needs ppl come and join. At least 10 ppl are online everyday, sometimes we got 13-15 if a bit more ppl come we can raid 25 mans.

I think it's a lot of fun raiding with a chinese guild. I'm seeing a lot of content I'd never see otherwise. Just downed Kil'Jaeden with my guild for the first time (for me) last night. It was a lot of fun.

I have nothing against the foreigner guilds either. I've played in a couple. It seems like nothing ever happens or is scheduled. Everyone is always just screwing around in arenas and battlegrounds it seems.
