Hello guys If you had some problems logging in the game with your EU/US client since 12 Mai 09 it s because the9.com released a minor patch.

The only thing you have to do is replace the old chinese Wow.exe(3.0.5.9294) by the new Wow.exe(3.0.5.9869).

Thanks for the link. Have replaced the old Wow.exe, but now I get the error message of "Unable to Connect. Please try again later."

I have my data/enUS/realmlist.wtf set to:

set realmlist cn1.grunt.wowchina.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

Yes it s ok, this evening the9 had an emergency shutdown to correct such kind of problem. They said server will be up as soon as possible. Need to be patient ^^.

According to the link, all the servers are down for emergency maintenance.

They will use the noticeboard to keep any users notified.

Well, looks like the9 following up on their new "you have no rights over your account" policy, detailed in the 9869 patch notes.

the english patched wow should still be 3.0.3.9183 right? Cuz even the servers are down i get the "Unable to validate game version error."

yes the only file who change is the Wow.exe. you have to use the freshly downloaded one. be sure that your realmlist config files are pointing to the chinese servers. Anyway for now servers are not working. If tomorrow you still have problems when(if) servers are up again, tell us and we will help you.

i still have the "unable to verify the patch" problem no idea why...

i've played this morning and the server shutdown like every 2h and now its down again and its a much logger down...

What the hell, i installed 3.0.3 replaced launcher and exe and i get the stupid "unable to verify patch" problem...anyone else has this?

There's a thread a couple threads down where I've posted the exe for you. If you download the exe, just copy it over the wow.exe in your world of warcraft folder. If you download one of the wow.rar files I put up, extract the wow.exe into your world of warcraft folder, replacing your current wow.exe.

Your version should be 3.0.5.9869
