I think Aion is a flop. I ve heard about a Chinese game made by netease who got the highest chinese player base, don't remember what was the name and where I saw it.
I ve often seen Mu online, kind of diablo like, also from netease, I think it s pretty famous in China, but 100% chinese, so better have a dictionnary at hand if you wanna try it

Right now I'm trying the EVEonline 14days trial after a friend teased me to join him try it. It s a spaceship simulation, though you don t really pilot the ship, it s point and click.
there is a unique server based in england and the whole world connect to this same server. There s around 20000 people connected at all time, you can find every languages and stuff.
So far it s fun, but the game doesn t really offer a real pve environement like wow, it s the players communities who create their own stories by forming alliances etc, you can become pirate or anti-pirate or a big mining corportation, explorer etc. Looks fun but it s a very complex game and I ve read it takes at least 3months of playing to really start seriously pvping etc.
Dunno if some of you want to give it a try there s a working 14days trial.
