Hey guys,

Atm im changing my UI and also added some fonts ( windows 7 ones )
Though in programs like MSN or QQ these fonts also support chinese language
however when i Add those fonts to WoW they dont..

1. Can anyone tell me why for example the Skurri font ( from the font file ) can display chinese characters in WoW and yet others cant?

2. How can I make my other font files ( the windows7 ones ) be able to display Chinese Characters in WoW?

Not all font files contain the full set of unicode characters (chinese/japanese/greek/russian......) most just have the main western character set with european/variants included - and are noticably smaller in filesize.

Consider also that many fonts are developed by individuals - and usually only include their own country's character set.

Your average font file is probably only about 100-200kb, however the ones including Chinese and other international characters tend to be anything from 1mb up to 40mb depending on the character sets included in it.

Take a look at the filesizes of the font files.. that should give you a rough idea of which ones might/might not work.

If its possible I would like to add some more Awesome Fonts to the fontpack aswell

You need to use a Unicode font set. It's the ones who contains the symbols for non-alphabetical languages. look at http://cooltext.com/Fonts for a few of them, oherwise Google is your friend.

I know how to get the fonts into WoW this isnt really the problem I use an addon called Shared Media with this its very easy ( no renaming etc.. ).

Also I dont want to download any new fonts I want to use my existing fonts and add chinese to those ( if its possible ).
You know of any font editor program or so that allows me to do this?

they dont work when you put them in your font folder.
