My wife and I are both using the same ID (hers) to play. We even share the same email/password to login. She doesn't (knowingly) share her id with others, and as far as we know, we're the only ones playing on her ID.
Is it possible to be banned under these conditions ? Is it likely to happen ? If it does happen, is there a reasonable explanaion we could give to recover one or both accounts ? I dont like the idea of playing on borrowed time, and it could be a matter of time before I am 'caught' and banned.

i use my wifes ID on borh of my accounts but had no problems in the past while multiboxing. It should be ok.

In case u get banned try to explain that ur her foreign husband and have no ID to set up an account and thats why u use it twice.

But i dont believe u could get banned at all.

My wife and I have been using her ID for 3 accounts, since 2006.
I do not think it should be a problem, because you can allways say they are her accounts.
Also I don't think there is a limit to accounts a single person can have.
So, as long as you don't hand the ID info arround, you should be ok.
I am assuming the major reasons for getting banned are, if you use a bot, buy gold and getting caught with it.

I am not sure if that is such a good idea. I did not read the rules here on CN WoW, but I guess they are similar to the US or EU. If I remember right, you are not allowed to share an account, so because you used your wife's ID only she should play with the account. Maybe better to say she is using two accounts.
Anyway if you don't mess around, eg. use bot or buy gold all the time in big quantities, you should be fine.

Thanks for the feedback. I had thought that it was only against the cwow ToS if you use an ID without the persons knowledge so if several people are logged in to the same ID at the same time it would raise flags. I guess it is possible for me to get banned, but it seems highly unlikely which is a releif.
I don't bot and I don't buy gold and -seeing as how some of you have been sharing ID's for a while- I think it's safe to assume that banning foreigners for using their spouse's ID to play the game is low on their list of priorities.

Have you ever stopped to consider that NetEase itself doesn't give a shit about IDs but rather they're being pawned by the CPC to do this? That would be a bit more plausible but I know next to nothing about it.
