Although only the data files are changed, I have packed all the files up in this archive.

PS: If your launcher opened up when you start the client, probably you need to rename it to Launcher.bak. The reason is unknown.

yes, was able to log in with ak's files to the realm list part

I had to rename my launcher.exe into launcher.exe.bk for this to work.

FYI all

i can log into my account fine, but server not gonna be up until 1pm i think, so no server list

you do exactly as the sticky post, except use the latest launcher in this thread, and rename your launcher.exe into something else.

Hi guys I'm currently still on patch 4.22; however, does anyone know if i need to convert the few changed files back to my original USwow files before I can update to 4.3 or I can just go ahead and open launcher and update with the Cnlauncher, enCN.dll files

you only need to change your wow.exe back to the US one to update,

do not touch realmlist

AHH I did not backup my USWow 4.22 WOW.EXE; can someone PLEASE help and upload a USWOW 4.22 WOW.EXE FILE?

Not sure if you did but I tell you anyway Smile

If you followed the guide and changed your wow.exe into wow.exe.bak then this is your back-up.
Simply change it back to wow.exe

i'd send you a 4.2.2 wow.exe but the forum won't let me attach file in PMs, you can try to delete your wow.exe entirely and run repair.exe

i'm block on connected. and then disconnected.
my game is uptodate 4.3.0 (15050).
ive put the fix launcher in my directory.
ive rename the launcher.exe in launcher.bak.
nothing else ?

1. did you copy over the new updated CHINA 4.3 wow.exe over to replace your EU wow.exe?
2. check realmlist again
3. check the sticky about using enUS.dat and enUS_72.dat

back up your current wow.exe and copy paste the new files in your wow folder.

my launcher and exe says i am still 4.2.2 , when i log is says unable to validate game.

so do i need to get an actual wowCN exe? the 4.3 launcher i DLed only has the extra enCNLauncher, which has changed nothing.

Realmlist and DATs "look" fine... but i am not l33t...

CNwow43exe.rar->Wow.exe has been removed since it was found to match the FILE FILTER= ExchangeLabs File Filter List 1: *.exe file filter.

maybe hotmail filter ?

Is there a Chinese WOW.exe yet?

When I log on it still says i am on 4.2.2 ? IS that ok.

Also I am on UK client, the patch wouldn't download for me at all I had to download from a mirror site.

thanks guys! ok all files updated, reverted to .bak and other appropriate file names. Game loads under 4.3. I get disconnected but I imagine thats just a server issue.
