can somone help me do the patch up? im really retarted when it comes to updating...
so i downloaded the thing that AK48 posted, and extracted it into my wow folder... now what?

Check list for Jubjub

1. Renamed the US realmlist to a .bak ?
2. Remaned the CN realmlist (no .bak)?
3. Remaned wowlauncher to .bak?

Go to malice and Gruumsh and ask for a copy

You need to first install the 4.3 US client.
If you have the wow.exe.bak file in your wow folder then you rename it into wow.exe

If you dont then you need to find a 4.3 US client or download, or ask your brother

CAN SOMONE HELP ME! i just downloaded the american patch up, and now everytime i open my enCNLaunch... it goes to the stupid launch box which doesnt launch. can someone help me PLEASE....

then you have to rename your Launcher.exe into launcher.exe.bak
or launcher file into launcher.bak

Yes, make sure in your connection log this is set.

you guys are really confusing jub i think.

she already had 4.2 encnlauncher working before.
now all she had to do was.

1. do not touch the realist files, you don't need to do anything as you already configured it in 4.2
2. you said you updated to 4.3 US client already - good
3. you unzipped ak48's latest files into your wow folder - good

you only need to do 2 things now.

1. rename your launcher.exe into launcher.exe.bak
2. http://www.gamefront.com/files/21081543/CNwow43exe.rar
download the wow.exe from that link and replace your old wow.exe

that is it

UUURRGG, is there a way were i can undo everything? cuz i didnt know what u guys ment by launcher and relm what ever, so i like made everything to .exe and .bak OOOPS. ok, im just gunna start over

ok hold on,,, what if we changed the realmlist during the DL? changed from chinese to US, then switched back? would that affect anything?

Now I'm downloading the patch!
later I will put the new CNlauncher.

1 tip: repair tool...

In case you have a lot of problems I did this:
use the original realmlist
use the original wow.exe
use the repair tool
update
change to the chinese realmlist
install the chinese wow.exe
install the launcher
(pray for that it works)

YOU DO NOT NEED TO TOUCH THE REALM LIST IF YOU HAD 4.2 ENCNLAUNCHER WORKING BEFORE.

if you look at the commands, the patch server still set to US/EU
only the login command changed to CN.

It will not affect your english patch updates.

in my case affected.
I just want to say that is another option in case you have game crash.

umm... i dont feel like waiting 20 min for the thing wow file to re copy on my comp and spazzingly clicking "yes" for every messagee that comes up about duplicating, so mal, can u just give me the whole game on a hard drive? i have exams and i REALLY dont feel like re doing everything because i screwed up. guys who have smaller problems than me, listen to Barrax, he is smart/old OKAY?

haha well Mal and i have connection issues still. I am at work so i can only ask questions. you guys will have to wait for a copy job... or Shadow can try to tuff it out on his comp. i suggest he keeps a fresh copy somewhere else that has the old version unchanged. BACK UP!

Jubjub, you can reset most changes to a standard client by running repair.exe in the wow folder. After you've done that, then the following should get it working.

1. Update WOW to 4.3 using the launcher.exe
2. Check to make sure your realmlist.wtf has these two lines

3. Rename wow.exe to wow.exe.bak and copy the Chinese version of wow.exe Found here
4. Rename Launcher.exe to Launcher.exe.bak
5. Copy the encnlaunch files into the WOW folder. Found here

I Re-installed UK Client.
Patched Up.
Copied over 4.3 Files.
Copied over 4.3 Chinese WOW.exe.

But it just says disconnected from server. :C

Any suggestions. It seems I am not the only one to have this problem but cant find a solution.

If anyone is having problesm like me ensure that your enCN file in your main folder has been updated to the following.

data=enUS_72.dat
data_size=72


I missed one 72 and it messed the whole thing.

yo i forgot to do the bak of wow.exe us version when updated to 4.2.2 so now whenever i launch the launcher it won't download anything. can someone send me the us exe if you still have it?

nvm the download started after like 10 mins of waiting without even having to change the wow.exe. see ya tomorrow in orgrimmar!

It happened when I click login,what`s wrong with my client?

Try a repair and apply the fix again. Looks like you got the wrong battle.net.dll file. Try to put the chinese client one first if you got it at hand.
