Ok installation went well dunno why so many people complained. Dinner and take care of the little one first and I am ready to lvl up later. I choose a witchdoctor as first choice seems like a cool warlock breed to me.

Server is still set on eu but I play later around and see how much wtfast will help to improve .

Normal Ping for me on Asia Server and US server is around 200-300 although it does occasionally spike to around 1-2k which is extremely unpleasant.

Seems like 27net has a proxy already for Diablo 3. Anybody able to read chinese and post a guide? I can't figure out what server i'm suppose to use with the proxy for the best results

^ thanks for bringing up 27net. I tried their (currently) free proxy for D3 and it lowered my ping from 400 to lower than 200.

On another note, I'm going with wizard after trying monk. For those of you who played DotA, you can attack animation cancel for ranged classes..which is awesome (higher skill cap).

Having trouble logging in all sorts of bugs are going on >.< keeps putting me in peoples games and then logs me out then gives me error 37

You can buy the game through US Battlenet, and it will give you a digital download of the game, and you can connect directly to the asian server. Its 60$ - around 400rmb.

The download takes an overnight, its pretty fast.

And you dont have to mod anything , its pretty much plug and play.

^ Yeah, that's what I did. Download it from battle.net, but make sure your account's address is in the US (otherwise they won't let you buy the US version). Create a new battle.net account if you have to. After you buy it, you'll get a link from them for the installer (or you could use first use Bolomas' link on the first page). After D3 is installed, you can change your region to Asia. You'll have to use the 27net proxy (which I linked above) to get a good latency.

Same here , there is not much a way around the system haaha, if you wanna play it , gotta buy it. And i think the best version to get is the US version cause you can change the language and its compatible to all servers.

No, the client is just a client, as soon as you register your cdkey with your bnet account it will show you as game purchased.

then you can pretty much play from any computer and any d3 client after login.

I just bought the game from blizzard's official site with a credit card and downloaded the game client and voila.

I'm playing within 250 and 500 ms on EU server and it's not that bad. Bit hard to get on Asia servers when whole mainland china is playing there lol.

As long as you don't have packet loss should be fine. Check the 27net trial.

you can chose between americas, europe, or asia. check the battletag post for where everyone is so far spooky and i are in americas with playable latency but the occasional lag spike but its ok

I read somewhere that they are limiting the number of connections coming from outside of Korea for the Asia servers. That means Korean players get a higher priority for logging into Asia as opposed to people from Taiwan/China and other parts of the world. It explains why we gets error 37 nonstop. This is all over the diablo 3 forums because it has been publicly announced by KR-Blizzard. Some people have confirmed that they don't have to wait in queue nor do they receive errors when they log in through a korean VPN. I can't believe Blizzard is pulling this shit.
