For now not much since the guys at The Crazy Waiguoren are offline. I have moved my 80, StixX and Sneer are underway and hopefully by then the rest of the guild will follow.

It's been 3 years I haven't played on a REAL balanced server, and even though being outnumbered never really bothered me too much, it really feels good to see as many hordes than allies in Dalaran, and yesterday Wintergrasp was Horde the whole evening, fine to me. Real sad when ppl started on WOW China nobody cared about server pop...

Cataclysm arrives in less than three weeks (downloading patches atm), with new guild achievements. Transfer took less than 20 min. Now is the chance to try something new.

Already try to contact the Crazy Wai Guo Ren, if they dont response quickly better we create a temporary guild untill they do

PS: type /teamdisband 2v2, 3v3, 5v5 to disband an arena team and after you log out your character for the last time you need to wait a good 15min before your able to transfer.

I'm interested in joining with one of my guys but as far as the Armory says you only got 8 level 80s atm, including some rank six alts? Is armory errored?

Transfers are still underway and will be for the next month as ppl relog to play cata. The rank 6 alts are our mains. Guildleader is afk for now so we will sort this out when she comes back.

Also armory didn't count Avanti and Sneer wasn't online yesterday evening so he isn't guilded yet.

Shame you guys are Horde, never really liked the feel of the races, cities etc. Nevertheless I will faction change either my mage or shaman and join you guys in a bit.

So you guys are moving to a realm where the guildleader is MIA for a monthand the officers don't have the power to promote. Well-- I'll sit on the fence for now I'm moving across China anyways, I'll check it out when I've arrived. I really hope it works out for all of us it would be nice.

Yeah no worries, take your time. on Bronzebeard we raided on dkp with our guild leader being offline for one year, didn't really matter, no need for a BOSS (one of our main raidleader wasn't even officer), just people willing to do smth in the game. The only thing that matters is having ppl logging on the same realm and walking on the same ground so they can group and play together

I agree, that's why everyone who is in CE's who makes level 80, sticks around long enough is an officer with fullbank and promotion access. Perhaps it's something for your similiarly egalitarian minded ideaology to adopt. Anyways I'm going to make a DK and join you guys while I'm in the process of moving. I fully 100% hope for the best, we all need this.

Does anybody know how about latency from beijing to cn1? because we have about 10-15 people who can transfer, but we're all from beijing. today i've checked it it was about 100, but will it be the same in raiding or bg'ing time?

there was a hunter named Marujin coming to maduolan CN1 around 3 months ago and a guy named Mushh i believe they're from Beijing and their average latency is around 100-200 ms depending on their connection and area i guess, but i think u can arrange some proxy or something like that =).

my suggestion is to first make a char in that server and play a bit on the weekend ( rush hour ) and see how it goes, i do hope u guys have a good latency there so we can all play together

Have started a DK over there but i'm gonna keep on leveling my Pala and Druid in Cow Eaters. Dk's 60 and called Milkshake so i will hit you guys up for an invite. It sounds like cata will be a lot of fun if this works

Yes for the latency from beijing to shanghai it s kind of try and pray. I'dont think it would be unplayalbe. And proxies services like 27net or netpass can just wipe the big lag issues (if you encounter any that is), but for a fee which is :

27rmb 1 month
48rmb 2 months
66rmb 3 months
99rmb 5 months

We used it when we were on taiwan and it worked like a charm for 25man raids and anything.

As I have been living in Shanghai and playing in Beijing, I would imagine the latency would be about the same. Basically, if you play when few people are online (I.e. Not in the evenings) then the ping is good. As soon as the evening arrives, expect lots of lag and probable disconnects, unless you use a proxy.

I use 27net as a proxy and it works really well. My ping is usually well under 100, so I can play without any problems. With everybody moving to this server in shanghai, perhaps I won't need the proxy anymore. I just need to wait for cataclysm to arrive so I can faction change my Druid to a troll rather than a Tauren. I will definitely be there soon, though.

I could transfer my highest lvl horde char, a lvl 67 hunter, but do I want to get around northrend yet again without flying? As another option, is anyone else leveling a char from scratch that I could team up with?

Ok little update : we had more people coming today, some transfered lv 80 chars, some are starting over new chars. Our great guildleader came to greet us, btw it's a girl "slash slash" but she plays with her husband who's a warrior with thick arms, so don't try anything foolish.

I'm updating a list of the ppl who are there on the first post, right now 19, I'm expecting at least 8 more from Bronzebeard, some are afk, on holidays, or still leveling and will be with us in the meantime.

We were 12 online at midnight, either guys leveling new chars, raiding allies bosses (ok we 5 manned exodar and darnasus nothing huge ^^), feels good to see so many ppl enthusiastic about this.

Hope to see more joining us and giving a chance to this realm and it's new reformed community.

PS : we have ppl from beijing too and it seems they have ok ping when using http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info13581-LeatrixLatencyFix.html , a free program that twink windows register to improve games lag. They are all leveling though so you will probably still need a proxy service for raids, because nobody has tested yet.

I had to remove my WOTLK to make space for the new Cataclysm download. ;<

Tamoka Cataclysm will be released on july 12 (if everything goes well).

You know actually the horde lore isn't that bad. They weren't the real bad guys, just possessed by Sargeras. I remember that made them more interesting to my eyes. And it's exotic, win more bgs, taurens can moo. It's not that bad : )

Just notice while patching to Cataclysm 4.1, that suddenly the launcher restarted and now its upgrading to patch 4.2.0...

Which sucks, because now I can start all over. Just a heads up.

The lore is actually pretty awesome in favor of the horde. Alliance races mostly caused all the shit this world has gone through except the possessed horde invasion. Orcs were enslaved during that, books were a good source on most of this. Humans and Elves have the antagonist role quite often in the stories.

AND yes! Crazies are winding up again, we will be making it possible for all invited newcomers to invite others. GB rights are on hold until we sort alts and everything settles and we figure out what we will do with our tab system.

Day 4 Update

5+ members joined us and are willing to transfer their mains. We had our first official guild raid tonight, started at 9:00 PM , from 10 ToC to 10 ICC. Things are moving along great!!

nice work guys. I was on leveling Milkshake last night and we had more than a dozen people doing stuff I know that 2-3 more Brits will come from CE at some point so now I'm really looking forward to cata and the next few months.
And yeah, horde ain't so bad...they were only corrupted due to one shamans greed, but due to that we now have warlocks...take the rough with the smooth I suppose...

well not races on horde are considered bad in wow. the cows are the good race. they do not even belong on horde side you can horde still play good race. orc ok, just want be stronger than any race.
only bad race undead or blood elves. why said that because blood elves are more powerful with out sunwell. They done more with out sunwell than they have with it. Plus undead and elves are firends.

Just a little update. So now we have 26 people which is a 7ppl bump since my last post less than 38 hours ago.

I'm still expecting at least 8 ppl from bronzebeard, and seeing how the guild is forming I've been pocking our best chinese buddies there to convince them to transfer a char too.

If I count in the guys who came and were interested but I didn't add in the list this bump the roaster to around 40 individuals.

And there are some other guilds of around 10ppl I'm trying to convince to JUST DO IT. Which could bump us to 50+++ individuals.

And then there will be those guys that only come on the forum for patches to play in english and will see there s a huge english community forming for cata.

SO PLEASE READ :

Don't do it for yourself. Think of all those new guys that will come play on wow China and can find a place with so many ENGLISH SPEAKERS TO DO STUFF with. And we have Chinese ppl too if you feel like training your 中文. We even already have some Chinese guys external to the guild who are on our english channel.

If we can get you all guys, if we can... it will be so convenient for everyone to do stuff. The realm is BALANCED as hell, PVPers can pvp but it's not overwhelming for those that aren't (yet) into it.

You aren't joining a new guild. You are joining a land with lots of english speakers to play with.

Because "shit", how frustrating it has been to fight to have fun in this game, and sometimes just because we are so stubborn. Now is the chance. Don't be afraid to move. I moved, they moved, we move now!

Im thinking of transferring a bit early, i was going to get to 85 first as i know the allaince quests but i want to know what the horde quest lines are like. Therse no rush to 85 plus if a foreigner got to 85 realm first adn the GM tried to talk t oyou. well bad things could happen if you spoke no chinese lol

I not sure i will becoming. the ping on cn1 at night just to high for me. On cn3 is good for at night. Some other people might have same problem.

Yeah I remember you lagging like hell in dalaran when you were on bb, can understand. I would still consider using a proxy like 27net.net, I know it's 25RMB a month, but we are having so much fun right now... 7 days ago I would log at prime time on all realms to say hi and find nobody online on CN1. Last night we were 14 online at 1 am, after raiding ICC we had a late 9 man RAID in stormwind which ended into skirmishes against allies in the heart of the city. We got ass raped in the end caus we lacked organization but that was fun anyway. The first time I went there with so many people from my own guild.

And when I left ppl were forming groups for achievements in 5man heroics... It's alive. I would definitely spend those 25RMB for a proxy if I had too, It's so worth it.

This is turning into an amazing watershed moment. Even just creating a new char to see what it is like is welcome.

Help is there for those who want it. While mats last hahaha.
The group got through 4 more bosses in ICC10 last night. All guys are having fun and everyone is getting their shot at raiding (thanks for the shield).

Already had to make choices on who could go! hopefully we will get enough on for 2 10mans soon.

Can i just double check, how much does it cost to transfer server and how much to race change? i remember hearing 360 in total but can anyone confirm that. If that is the case do i just go into the internet cafe where they sell time nad just ask for 12 time cards? lol

120 RMB for faction change and 60 RMB for realm transfert. So 180 RMB. For the cards you can find them in many bookstores too. Just ask for Mo shou shi jie ka 魔兽世界卡。 If you use Taobao you can buy the mobile recharge cards(shen zhou xing ka 神州行卡) and imput the credit on your taobao account. Cards cost 27.5 RMB if you buy online. And it's official sellers which means instant delivery of the code. Not a cheap scan or anything.

I think the faction change is really really easy. you select your account and at the bottom click the icon with the ally and horde flag. once there you'll have a list of your chars so select the one you gonna faction change and I guess the rest of the options are confirmation buttons.

exactly what I was looking for. I've got a question though. On the buying screen, it asks me for 网通行证 (email?) and 游戏帐号. I've no idea what the second one is. Google Translate tells me it's the "Game account number" but what is that?

If zou mean thge buying screen in BNET it will ask you for the card number and card password after you choose which tzpe of card u want to charge.

For transfer and Faction change its
120RMB - 4Game Cards
and for Transfer
60RMB - 2Game Cards

Total: 6 Cards

Have done it before and works pretty good putting in all the cards takes more time then the actuall transfer and change lol

The realm has city raid in the middle of the afternoon at weekends ^^. Been playing for 5years in China, and because of server imbalance I haven't done that at all for all this time.




Us being attacked in Elwyn forest during summoning of the whole raid. We managed to repeal them without too much losses.





And here us at stormwind doors. Unfortunately it seems we had some organization problems and sort of got ass raped in the end since not all the forces were ready when the first group started. Skirmishes lasted in the forest as forces where separated, was fun anyway.
