My friend and I just bought Chinese WoW yesterday and our other friends are about to join. We currently manage a PvP guild on the US Server Burning Legion - Alliance but due to high ping have gotten too frustrated. We've decided to roll Horde on the Chinese servers, Beijing 2 主宰之剑PVP server. If anyone, Foreigners or Chinese alike wish to join us will be welcome. We will most definitely start up a guild on the server that is English based as we are foreign students studying at the International School of Beijing (ISB). Please post of message ingame to the character Gnius (Horde).

I'd recommend - from experience - to try to find an existing community and join and grow as part of it as opposed to try to create a new one with only a handful of foreign friends. You'll find that servers don't have many english speakers, or have pretty much no foreigners, except the ones that occasionally hit up this forum. I've made 70s on 5 servers in China and currently play only 2 - both of which are here (beijing2 pvp alliance 70war and guangdong4 aodolanke pvp horde, 70mage/lock).

The ping between cities isn't so bad, I live in Chengdu so I'm a little disadvantaged to join any of these servers, but I'll take community over uberping anyday - albeit MT with 700ms can be a PITA.

Come play in 一区on the 山丘之王server! We've got a freaking huge guild going on. Pretty mush all English in guild chat but we have people from all over. USA, Europe, UK, Asia, and a bunch from Indonesia.

If I joined the Shanghai server and currently reside in Beijing how would the lag be? And in regards to tanking, I've given up raiding as I've finished BT and Hyjal. I'm more PvP now.

^From BJ to Shanghai is pretty bad. Sometimes it is even worse than the ping to the US. The server you are on has an english guild on Alliance side so if you guys just started it would be better to join them.

Oh yeah, just realized your server choice is where some of us play Alliance PVP. If you are willing to go Horde to Alliance we'd welcome you to our group and help you level up. Communities are small enough as it is

Yeah i agree getting a community together is most important. I was in a great guild on a US server Horde side but i'm willing to reroll Alliance on Beijing - 主宰之剑 if we can get a good community together....even though Alliance toons look funny! =P

yo, you ISB people should just get together and form an alliance guild or a horde guild on that server. I'll get all my WAB friends to join you guys.

What i suggest is that we all join poidthedoid and his friends on the alliance side of 主宰之剑, because that guild has been around for quite some time.

i'll roll a priest called Prayzz in your alliance pvp server. Instead of expanding my guild in 战歌, lets just move all the foreigners into that server.

but i dont know where to go to get setup or get game cards
i have us ver of wow on my comp can i change it to look for the chinese realms and also what sever should i join
also my wow is updated to the current ver of the us servers
i gottin a bit confused reading bout beijing 2 and beijing 6 and what not

Dont join the server 主宰之剑 -- its abandoned. Join our guild "Foreign Shards" in 战歌, its quite large now and always has people on, including at least a couple 70's. We do karazhan runs every saturday and will soon move on to Zul'aman.

Trigg LvL 70 UD lock from 烈焰峰. I cleaned everything from MC to Sunwell Plateau (except for Naxx, only one guild was farming it in my server).

I have recently moved to China, Tianjin, I will be starting up in the next week or so.

I will be playing Horde because from the sound of it, Horde needs the players more then Alliance, I prefer to play on the underdog side then on the over-powered side..


Servers are better if they are balanced.

Come to warsong then. I also play from tianjin. We are horde and growing really fast. This week 5 more ppl joined. Once the mac problem is solved we can get 20 ppl online. come and well help u lvl really fast. Guild name is foreign shards
